I. Introduction

Throughout the advancement of generations and
civilizations, people have always tried to make
dining more meaningful. This proves that the
dining experience is truly an immersive and
important aspect of our daily lives.

Single-use plastics have far-reaching environmental


impacts that go beyond waste disposal. From the
procurement of raw materials to manufacturing,
transit, and use, and all the way to disposal, a
particular type of packaging can have a substantial
environmental impact.
I. Introduction

With the rise of the food business, the demand for
packaging materials is increasing.

Paper plates are now available in small and big


sizes, as well as varied shapes and plate counts,
from well-known different brands.

The disposables used to serve food(plates) are the


focus of this issue. Although disposables play a role
in cooking, some kitchenware is not included.

Biodegradable packaging gives a potential for


expansion as more people become interested in green
living. We were driven by the chance to provide
convenience and improve public hygiene when it
comes to dishware product focuses into the plates.
II. Product Specification
z
Straw is an agricultural by-product consisting of the
dry stalks of cereal plants after the grain and chaff
have been removed. It makes up about half of the
yield of cereal crops such as barley, oats, rice, rye,
and wheat. In many agricultural processes, straw is
treated merely as the agricultural waste that
remains after grain or juice is extracted from crops.

Our product which is a Biodegradable Plate made from rice straw are round food plates that
are made of wheat straw, natural, eco-friendly, recyclable, green, healthy designed with
space-saving style and smooth round edges, light to hold and safe to use, sturdy and
durable, with dimensions of 20 Centimeters in diameter and weighs in at approximately 130-
140 grams. This biodegradable plate is detachable, for family food or fruits container that is
suitable for home use, or outdoor cooking, or dining when camping, hiking, picnic, BBQ,
backpacking, backyard, garden party, etc.
