D. LESSONS LEARNED
• Continued technical assistance, monitoring, have significantly improved the
schools’ SBFP implementation.
• As a dedicated SBFP Coordinator, I found it really challenging, especially in this
time of pandemic. I learned a lot and that include risk-taking, patience and
perseverance in order to cater and ensure the nutritional needs of learners.
• Strengthening the nutrition workforce by improving systems for educating and
training the school stakeholders and involvement of health programs
E. ANALYSIS, PROPOSED PLAN OF ACTION, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• Identification of potential partner for SBFP, Coordination with PTA Officers and iddentified
partners, Preparation of Program activities and meeting with the partners
• Many were pleased and satisfied with the nutritious food product and yet there were
parents who did not even participate from the beginning until its ending. Since there were
many pupils who are longing for the feeding program would it be pleasing to give chance
for others in replacement of those are not willing to continue the feeding.
• Milk should be frozen because of the distance from the drop off point to avoid spoiling of
the milk
E. ANALYSIS, PROPOSED PLAN OF ACTION, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
• Powder Milk is better then fresh milk,
• The nutri-chips and nutri-blend were so good and very nutritious. However, there
are children who preferred and inquired if there are other flavors aside. From the
given. So, we recommend that in the next implementation program, additional
flavors of nutri-blend and nutri-chips would be available, if possible. Also, if
possible, additional chips would be distributed (mango,banana)that also meet the
nutritional requirements but are more child-friendly and suitable to the taste of
children.
