Introduction:
Circulation is the movement through spaces.
-To provide a sense of direction.
-It should be barrier free.
-Minimum width of the corridor should be 1.5m minimum.
-Floors should be non slippery and non glary.
It consists of three main types
1.Direction of movement
- Horizontal
- Vertical
2. the users

There’s Four distinct types of areas are involved: guest rooms, public areas,
administration offices and ‘back-of-house’ facilities. Relationships between these areas
must be planned to provide separation of customer and back-of-house areas but
also allow efficient service without cross-circulation or distraction.

Limited access circulation
Also As a rule emergency stairs must be sited at or near the ends of each
corridor.
Lengths of corridors are limited by travel distances to protected fire escape
stairs as specified in local codes. For corridors with sprinkler systems and fire
exits at hear opposite ends allowing two directions of escape Guest and service
lifts, normally in the ratio 2:1, 3:2 or 4:3, are often sited back to back for
economy, the service lifts rising from back-of house areas and opening into a
separated service lobby on
each floor .
Large and high-grade
hotels often require
specific provision for luggage
handling.

Services(Back Of House)
rarely seen by a guest, the back of the House is most crucial part of
the plan it Has 2 Main Objectives: Control and Efficiency
Foodstuffs, housekeeping supplies, and a great many other items
must be received out of sight of the hotel guests, Such receiving is
usually done at a loading dock, which should be covered so that
deliveries can be made regardless of the weather.

And Then be Prepared and distributed efficiently

Underground car parking
We provide some ways to choose the type of parking system for your
reference :

By the relative position of the ground

Ground : All parking system types

Half underground : Pit parking system
Underground : stacking parking system ,Multilayer circulation parking
system and plane moving parking system .

Reference: 10/30/2021 34
Stacker Parking System PXD
This equipment can meet the requirements for above-ground or underground
garage varying from the 2 floor to 5 floor garage, realizing automatic fast and
safely vehicle access.

Main technical parameter

Stacker Parking System PXD

Reference: 10/30/2021 36
Multilayer Circulation Parking System PDX
How it works:
Multilayer Circulation Parking System by means of the pallet
horizontal and up down circulation, to store car.

Features :
No ramp, high utilization rate of land;
Automatic accessing, convenient and swift;
PLC control, high automatism, low failure rate, smooth
operation;

Adaptation:
It is optimum to be set up on the long and thin site, and the site
has only one entrance.

Reference: 10/30/2021 37
Multilayer Circulation Parking System PDX
It is suitable for the building to be built in a place where the
terrain is long and thin and the ground allows only one
entrance and exit, such as the basement of the building,
square, under the road, and under the viaduct.

Plane-Moving Parking System PPY
PPY Plane-moving parking system is automated smart
parking system . Is adopts similar principle and structure like
stereoscopic warehouse, each floor has at least a traverser
which is responsible for vehicle access of this floor. Different
parking floor is connected to the entrance by the elevator.
The driver just stop the car at the entrance and the whole car-
accessing process can be done automatically by the system.

This equipment can meet the requirements of above-ground

or underground garage varying from 2 floor to the 15 floor
garage, realizing automatic fast and safely vehicle access.

Technical features:
●High automation degree, instant treatment, continuous storage, high parking
efficiency, can realize simultaneous access to vehicles.
●Large scale parking of one hundred to thousands scale can be achieved;
●Applicable to both above-ground and underground garage, fast access to the vehicle
, no reversing or turning around action;
●Totally enclosed construction, safe vehicle access;
●Space saving, flexible design, diverse modeling, less investment, low spending
●Various safety measures to ensure the safety of people and vehicles;
●Simple operation, can be either centrally operated or operated by one’s own;

Underground car parking
Neighborhood guidance
Underground car parking should be considered wherever possible, but is
especially suited to sites with medium to high density and land value.

Site guidance
Locate vehicle entrance ramps to an underground parking so that disruption to
traffic, cyclists and pedestrians is kept to a minimum i.e. via a side street rather
than a main road.

Van space: Wider parking
space. Van spaces provide an
additional 3 feet of width to
accommodate vehicles
equipped with ramps or lifts.
This extra space can be added

Driverless Parking - Automated Parking Systems

 Automated Parking Systems eliminate much of the

space wasted in traditional parking facilities by taking
people out of the parking process and out of the
parking area. An automatic mechanical system picks
up cars and transports them to parking spaces. It
reverses the process to return the cars to their drivers.
This way APS utilize much smaller parking spaces and
eliminate driving lanes, ramps, lifts, stairs, etc. The
Automated Parking System also eliminates the need
for people to be in the parking area. Drivers drop off
and pick up cars in open and well-lighted entrances at
ground level, eliminating the need to walk through
often quite intimidating car parking areas.

Underground car parking

The ideal hotel parking experience

would include the following:
•Plenty of highly-secure, indoor parking
spaces available
•Cars locked by guests and not touched or
driven by anyone else
•Ultra-fast, convenient and very safe
parking and retrieval of cars
•Guests leaving with a positive impression
of the hotel parking arrangements

Ahmedabad Hotel / Studio Symbiosis

Designed as an iconic building in

Ahmedabad, the hotel proposal
by Studio Symbiosis focuses on
interweaving the concepts of
waves in nature. Using fold lines
as movement trajectories and
perception along with
programmatic requirements, the
project’s form demonstrates a
sense of elegance with soft, subtle
touches. Seamless waves flowing
on the landscape and flowing on
the façade are the focal point for
this full service Four-star
property.

10/30/2021 65
The different functions in the building with different programmatic requirements
are blending together thus resulting in this iconic building. The building
comprises of three waves which are very carefully translated into dramatic key
spaces on the lower floors and on the upper floors they translate into room grids
with focus on standardized room sizes. These waves emerge effortlessly from the
landscape creating a sense of harmonic relationship with the ground. The profile
of the building has been designed with keen emphasis given both to the smooth
transition from the horizontal landscape to the vertical building and to the
standardization and repetition of the façade components.

Entrance
Visitors

Entrance
Guests
10/30/2021 66
The entry to the building has been
marked with a column less cantilever
that creates a dramatic entrance space.
The guests are welcomed by the
architecture of the canopy that follows
the seamless nature of the design
proposal, emerging from the ground
and morphing back into it. On the
lower three floors the proposal consists
of reception lobby, shopping area,
banquet hall, meeting rooms,
restaurants, lounge space and service
areas.

10/30/2021 67
All these elements are tied with a coherent design language of natural canyon like
formations. The spaces are carved out using the same design principles with
which a wave carves out a canyon. This helps in connecting the various public
functions into one space visually which still have the capability of functioning
independently.
