Current State

• Low PVC production rate because there is only 1 reactor,

• A reactor can work in only 3 cycles/day ,
• PVC manufacturing unit is able to supply only 1,91,617, MT PVC annually,
• PVC is manufactured in the PVC manufacturing plant in Pune currently functioning at 80% capacity
Key Issues

 High logistics cost because there is no geographical mapping of toy manufacturing plants with distribution
centers,
 There is only 1 reactor in the PVC manufacturing plant,
 Reactor can work in only 3 cycles/day (idle time- 12 hours/day),
 Current annual PVC to Toy conversion = 95,80,889
 Maximum total toy manufacturing capacity is = 1,59,68,149
 Annual demand at distribution centers = 1,17,43,184
Solutions

• Increase the number of reactors in the PVC manufacturing plant to 2:

• Multiple reactors could be run simultaneously,
• It will help in producing 2,34,863 MT PVC annually to manufacture 1,17,43,184 toys (current demand),
• It will enable the company to overcome shelf availability issue

• Selling toys over booming e-commerce platform, this will help in:
• Overcome geographical limitations of retail stores,
• Gaining new customers with Search Engine Visibility
• Creating targeted communication with the consumers,
• Track and analyze the performance of all the products that the company sells,
