Pointillism PowerPoint

Pointillism is a painting technique where tiny dots of pure color are applied to a canvas to create an overall image. The close placement of these dots causes the colors to appear blended from a distance. Georges Seurat developed this style in the 1880s, applying theories of color and optics. He and other artists who adopted this new style became known as Pointillists.
