THE PEOPLE. IT IS THE CENTER OF
ECONOMIC ACTIVITY AMONG THE
CENTRAL TOWNS OF THE
PROVINCE. IT HAS TWO MARKET

Bugasong is one of the town who got a lot of
achievements and awards like out of all 3rd Class to
1st Class Municipalities in the whole Region Six.
Bugasong emerged as the Champion in the Excellence
in Environmental Governance in the 2018 Excell
Awards by the Department of the Interior and Local
Government Regional Office 6, this proves that in
unity, there is strength. The livelihood product of
Bugasongnon’s are farming, fishing and the popular
loom weaving that gives profit and opportunity for
their municipality to be known in the field of
Tourism Industry.
Bugasong has a lot of places that needs to develop.
Although Bugasong is the most smallest municipality
among 18 municipalities in the province of Antique,
still it has lots of hidden treasures to discover.
The best of Bugasong Antique is that passion in
protecting the environment was developed through
the years as I get to know more about Bugasong’s
beauty and its richness. Knowing it intimately as I
explored its wonders made me an advocate of doing
my share to protect and preserve it. Indeed! Bugasong
is wonderful place to visit. Creativity at it’s best.
It is improving, Improving for the better.
Changing for the best, where I believe that
is all matters.
