Examples:
• Marketers should not make unqualified general environmental benefit claims of
“green,” “environmentally friendly,” etc.
• Recycled content must be specific to product and/or packaging, stating mass %
pre- and/or post-consumer origins
• “Recyclable” claims must disclose actual availability of recycling

• “Free of (substance)” claims may be deceptive if:


• the item has substances that pose the same or similar environmental risk as the substance not present, or
• the substance has never been associated with the product category

that describe the requirements for learning services provided
outside formal education, such as ISO 29993, which covers all
types of lifelong learning including vocational education and
in-company training (either outsourced or in-house).

the impact of their activities on the environment
ISO 14001, Environmental management systems – Requirements
with guidance for use, covers overall frameworks, audits,

mitigate and adapt to climate change.
ISO 14064 series gives specifications for the quantification,
monitoring and validation/ verification of greenhouse gas
emissions
ISO/TS 14067 (currently under revision) specifies the principles,
