Golden Ratio
The ratio of consecutive numbers in the Fibonacci Sequnce approaches a number
known as the golden ratio or phi which is equivalent to 1.618…
The aesthetically appealing ratio is found in much human architecture and plant
life
A Golden Spiral formed in a manner similar to the Fibonacci spiral can be found
by tracing the seeds of a sunflower from the center outwards.
HOW DID YOU MAKE
THE GOLDEN RATIO LOGO?
What are the software tools that you use in
making the logo?
Adobe Illustrator
Canva
CC 2020
Iuse Adobe Illustrator in making the logo and I use
canva for finishing touches like background, and
other text.
I use Adobe Illustrator in making the logo because
it is the most efficient tool in making the logo. It is
also recommendable because you can see if the
measurements are correct
I use Adobe Illustrator and canva because its easy
to use.
LETS GO STEP BY STEP!
STEP 1: Using the Adobe Illustrator, I
make a square (366 x 366) and make a
copy of it.
Step 2: I modified the width of the other
square by multiplying it by 1.618.
Step 3: Select all the figures present and
then align them to the left.
IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS.
Step 4:Add squares on the pre-added
squares and make sure that the squares
does have the same dimension. (Width
& Height)
It will look like this.
In the next following slides, I will show
you how I made the spiral.
STEP 1: Create a circle that has the
same dimensions as with the first square
that you added. Once you’re done,
multiply Width and the Height by 2
(366*2)
Step 2: Place the middle of the circle in
the lower right corner of the biggest
square.
Step 3: Remove the anchors that is not
needed.
It pertains to the anchor
IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS
Step 4: Make a copy of the anchor and
divide the width by 1.618 until it create
a golden spiral.

LETS GO WITH THE ACTUAL
LOGO MAKING.
Step 1: Use the template
that you made a while ago
and create a circle on each
of the squares.
OUTCOME!
Step 2: Move out the created circles and
align them in each circle. (You can align
them depending on the size of it.) You
can also remove now the template.
Step 3: Select all the circles and
vertically align them in the center.
ONCE YOU’RE DONE WITH THE
CIRCLES, YOU CAN NOW CREATE
A LOGO.
WOHOO!

STEP 1: ADJUST THE OPACITY OF
THE TEMPLATE ( TEDDY BEAR
PICTURE)
STEP 2: Use the circles to trace the
template.
I modified the eye part of the
template by merging two
circles using shape builder.

I use smaller As for the nose, I
circles in making use three circles,
this eyes. 1 which is bigger
with the other
and merge them
as one.
I use this eye to
make the smaller
circles inside it.
I divided its For the tip of the
Width and nose, I merged two
Height by 1.618 circles and use
to create it. shape builder tool
to reform its shape.
You can see the exact dimension of the parts in the its original file.
STEP 3: TOUNGE MAKING
1.)I remove the unnecessary
anchors to form the shape of the
tongue; It formed like this.
I use this circle in creating the 2.) After forming the shape of the
tongue of the teddy bear tongue, I use the shape builder tool
in order for them to merge with the
larger circle on top of it.
STEP 4: APPLYING FINISHING
TOUCHES
Here is the final design of the
logo. I also change the color
of the tongue.

creating the design with the logo
template I made.

OF BACKGROUND WHY I CAME UP
WITH THE CONCEPT OF MY
LOGO!
STORY TIME! I named my company or store as Toy
Galore because I strongly believe that
my logo can be associated with toys. I
also come up with “Toy Galore” as
the name of my company because I
really like giving gifts to kids
especially with my younger cousins. I
really like to take care of them. Also,
giving gifts is one way of showing my
love for them. It really me makes me
happy whenever they smile because
they receive a gift coming from me!
