When they ran out of food, his sister would go out to buy more. They also received relief goods from their local government. Some problems during quarantine included lack of transportation, inability to work and earn money, and difficulty paying bills. MY STAY HOME

STORY
JOSE, DEBBIE F. BPA 2-A
My mom and my elder sister went back
home here in Malolos, Bulacan after
President Duterte announced that there will
be an Enhanced Community Quarantine
(ECQ) in Luzon.
We spent most of our time at home,
cleaning, watching dramas, and when we
ran out of food stocks, my sister will go out.
We also received relief goods from our
barangay, municipality, provincial gov’t, and
cooperative (because my mom and my
sister were member of it).
PROBLEM DURING QUARANTINE:
• No public transportation.
It’s really hard for us who doesn’t have a private vehicle to
go to groceries or wet market just to buy food. We have to
rent a service and it’s really expensive.
• No work, No pay.
• Payments for bills.
• There’s a lot of fake news in social media sites.
• Some products in grocery stores are always out of
stock.
How do I practice social distancing to
protect myself?
• We have our own fork & spoon, plates, drinking
glasses at home.
• Everytime I need to go outside, I wear face mask and
eyeglasses to protect myself from others and also to
protect them from me.
• I keep my distance atleast one meter away from other
people.
• I restrain myself to hug someone, giving a high five
and doing “mano” to others.
What lessons learned on COVID-19
pandemic may be identified in times of
crisis?
Decision making plays a big part of how we should deal a
crisis (mostly for our government) because every single minute
there’s a life at stake. Also, the preparedness of our country to
face it because we will never know when a crisis will arise.
Lastly, every country needs a unity between the government
and the people to face a crisis. Government should listen to the
people and people should cooperate to the government.
THANK
YOU!
