Notion of the task
Task-based language learning is an offshoot
of communicative approach that focuses on
the language use while performing some
real-life tasks.
Why task based learning?
Task-based teaching provides students
with the linguistic components they
need to accomplish different real-world
tasks.
Such tasks may include:
= going shopping;
= booking a room in a hotel;
= making a phone call;
Examples of real-life tasks
- going on a trip the whole family
- a dinner conversation at home
- speaking with parents about your roots
- playing cards with your cousins

Teaching and Learning Methods
should be continually adapted to
the new realities of life, e-learning
Traditional Electronic
The aim of e-learning is to replace
traditional teaching materials (textbooks)
with electronic ones (i.e. hardware and
software tools),
so to make TBL
more digitalized
not losing its
efficiency
