India holds one of the highest rates of economic development in the entire world. This means that every industry is
growing at a rapid pace. The demand of the organization from the employees is growing simultaneously. This is
causing a negative impact on the personal and professional lives of the urban population. Being exposed to extreme
stress due to personal and professional responsibilities, individuals are slowly breaking down.
A holistic wellness centre comprises of both conventional, as well as, alternative therapies for stressed body, mind,
and soul. From naturopathy, massage, skincare, fitness solutions, to diet consultation, everything is included in this
approach. The current status of the entire family is in the utmost need of such centre.
GLOBAL AYURVEDIC VILLAGE
Global Ayurveda Village(GAV) project is a cross sectorial concept leveraging the interlinkages between Industries
and health care. The GAV attempts to incorporate most modern scientific developments in diagnostic and all other
treatment aspects with classical Ayurveda. The aim is to bench - mark the project with the Global Centers of
traditional medicine and develops it as Integrated Centre of Excellence in Ayurveda to overcome the challenges of
this system of medicine in the path of Global Recognition.
AIM
The aim of the project is to design a centre that imparts the feeling of wellness rather than
illness by integrating cultural values with therapeutic environment. The benefit of this
project is to reflect age-old traditions and values, improvement in the quality of health. It
is like a home of silent reflection to regain a sense of place.
OBJECTIVE

NEED OF THE PROJECT
In ancient India, holistic living was a way of life. People inherently understood the balance of nature, the ways of the
Universe and how elements affected not just their physical health, but their mental [Link] new age individual
moving on today’s fast track recognizes the need to retreat, find holistic remedies and rejuvenating locales.
“ There is a a high demand for stress busting vacations as people preferred to take vacations where
their health was also looked after and where they could rejuvenate. Kerala identified this need and to
tap the potential it established ayurvedic resorts and spas by the beaches and backwaters so that the
combination of wellness holiday at a location which was naturally endowed ”
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
The Ayurvedic village comprises of four main healing categories

Globalized and modernized particles derived from Ayurvedic traditions are a type of alternative

YOGA Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice or discipline which originated in India
Meditation is an experience of relaxing the body, quieting the mind, and awakening the spirit.
MEDITATION Meditation encourages a deepening of consciousness or awareness and also facilitates a deeper
understanding of self and others
NATUROPATHY
Naturopathy or naturopathic medicine is a form of alternative medicine employing a wide array of
