INTRODUCTION
• Formula One, also known as Formula 1 or F1 and reffered to
officialy as the FIA Formula One World Championship, is the
highest class of single seater auto racing sanctioned by the
Federation Internationale de I’Automobile(FIA).
• The “formula” designation in the name refers to a set of rules
with which all participants’ cars must comply.
• The F1 season consists of a series of races, known as Grand
Prix(French: Grand Prizes),held on purpose-built circuits and
public roads.
INTRODUCTION
• The results of each race are combined to determine two
annual World Championships, one for the drivers and one for
the constructors.
• It has a global audience of 490.2 mil which increases every
year.
• The current leader of the drivers championship is lewis
Hamilton(ENG)(338 points).
• The current constructors champion is Mercedes(6th time in a
row)
Formula One Car
• A modern Formula One car is a single-seat, open cockpit(with
an HAlO), open wheel racing car with substantial front and
rear wings, and an engine positioned behind the driver.
• The Formula One regulations specify that cars must be
constructed by the racing teams themselves, though the
design and manufacture can be outsourced.
• Engine specifiactions: 1.6 litre four-stroke turbocharged 90
degree V6 reciprocating engines.
• Fuel: Fairly similar to ordinary petrol.

It consist of all switches that help to control the car and LED
screen which helps to see information on the go.
A Formula One weekend
• It consists of three days(Fri,Sat,Sun)
• Practice session on Friday, Qualifying on Saturday, and the
main race on Sunday.
• The main race is 305 km long and is to be completed under 2
hours.

• F1 cars can negotiate corners at significantly higher speeds
due to its light weight and high down force.
• F1 drivers have prolonged exposure to high G forces and
temperature for little over an hour. This results in an average
F1 driver losing about 4 kgs of weight after just one race.
• In Germany 77% of roads don't have speed limit and two
champions Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel belong to
that country.
