PROPERTIES OF ADDITION
• The sum remains the same even if we
interchange the place of the numbers to be
added.
e.g. 1283 + 2690 = 2690 + 1283
• The sum of a number and zero is the
number itself.
e.g. 3617 + 0 = 3617
