Exploring Vulnerability Through Art

This document provides an overview of a lesson plan about vulnerability. The lesson will have students create an analog drawing to express their feelings in a vulnerable state. They will then learn about iconography and add symbols to represent themselves. A discussion will follow about how the assigned reading and activity relate to the key concept that vulnerability can lead to meaningful relationships and meaning making. The objectives are for students to understand vocabulary, communicate feelings through art, and discuss how vulnerability brings meaning.
