>> Energy
Using solar can reduce your dependence upon
the utility, as well as the fossil fuel companies
that supply it. It helps reduce the nations
reliance on foreign energy sources.
>> Environmental Impact
>> Financial Benefits
When you choose to use solar to replace all or
part of what you had been using the utility for,
that comes with financial savings on your
utility bill. Solar-electric, as popular as it is,
does not have as high an energy and cash

Salt-Water Energy
Description
Salt Water energy is
an
environmentfriendly
and
sustainable
alternative
energy
source that runs on
saltwater, making it
suitable
to
those
who live in coastal
areas.
Why use it?
>> Environmental friendly
Does not emit toxic gases and leaves minimal
carbon footprint compared with kerosene.
>> A lot safer
Does not have components and compounds
that may spark fire.
>>

Wind-Powered
Mobile Phone
Charger
Description
Wind-Powered Wind Charger
is a device that is like a miniature wind
turbine that uses the motion of the wind to
convert it into rotational energy and is use to
convert into electricity that power up the
mobile phone batteries.
Why use
it?
Wind-Powered Wind Charger is an
environment-friendly device and a
low-cost project. It is a small device
that can be carried around, yet
brings
better
outcome.
The
fan
generates
AC current
that we'll
convert to
dc current
to charge
up
the
battery via
a
Joule
Thief
circuit.
The Joule
Thief gives
enough
voltage
boost for
the build
in Lithium
ion
battery.
How it works!!!
*Convert AC
to DC
Once the AC signal
is
converted
to
DC(rectify, filtered
pulsating
DC
trough capacitors),
we can now simply
charge the battery
through
a
Joule
Thief circuit.
*The Joule Thief circuit:
The Joule Thief circuit
works
by
rapidly
switching
the
transistor.
Initially,
current begins to flow
through the resistor,
secondary winding and
base-emitter junction
(see diagram) which
causes the transistor
to begin conducting
collector
current
through the primary
winding.
