Our Production Company- This is the company name and logo for Morgue Productions. After brainstorming a variety of
different company names we chose to use this name as we wanted our production to be in the genre horror this name
morgue then fitted with the genre we choose. Throughout pre production we then decided to change the genre to thriller as
it suited the codes and conventions more, we decided to keep the name as we thought as a group our name would stand
out compared to other thriller companies. We also wanted to incorporate the colour red into our logo to connote danger to
the audience, overall we wanted to keep our logo simple but also unique and eye catching to other production companies.
What does a production company do- A production company helps to create a film, from the start of the production the
company have to look over everything to make sure everything is running as planned. They deal with the budgeting,
casting, scheduling and scripting however they are most responsible for the actors to make sure they dont get injured and
that the equipment doesnt get damaged. Production companies need to manage the budget and make sure it doesnt
exceed the limit, they also are in charge of the legal issues and make sure during their production that they dont breach
rules.

Distribution- A distributers main job is to send out the final film so that people can be able to watch it, they also promote the
film and decide when it will be shown. A distribution company which I thought would be a good company to distribute our
film was New Line Cinema. I chose New Line Cinema as its had a lot of success in the past with thriller films, for
example, it was very successful with the comedy/ thriller film of Rush Hour which also followed the lines of or storyline
which included a young girl being kidnapped. This suggests that they would be able to target and distribute our film
correctly as they have done with films similar to ours. Also, New Line Cinema is has international sites based in Australia,
Brazil, Canada, India, USA, and UK, this means our film would be distributed all over the world allowing us to get many
views this could possibly lead to our film becoming viral and a big success in other countries.
Promotion And Money- As we would have to have a budget in order to make the film, our method that we could use is to
pitch our film idea to a film company. We would do this as we would show our ideas and if they liked our film and believed
our film could be successful we would then see if they would want to work with us. This would be beneficial as many people
who visit the cinema and watch YouTube they would view our trailer meaning they would become interested in watching the
full production. Another method for promotion is use to social media to promote the film coming out this would then be seen
by young people who are interested into social media this would then catch their eye and make them want to watch the film.
Other methods we could use to promote our film could be posters shown in magazines, newspapers and on billboards,
advertisements on the radio, internet and TV.

Opening Credits Of Our Film- The titles we used in our opening sequence are displayed within the first 30 seconds but the title of the
production is shown at the end of the sequence, the titles which we chose to include were the company name, production and the
different job roles which we set out. Each title written with the same font Lucida Bright in the colour white and in full caps. We chose
to do this as we wanted to make sure each title was clear and stood out as we wanted to make sure they were clear and obvious to
the audience. This was so we didnt want the footage in the background to cause the titles to become unnoticeable and difficult to
read, we also wanted to use a continuous font throughout the titles as we wanted to keep it simple. Each title was displayed around 34 seconds so that the audience could be able to read them, we only wanted to use a few titles as at the beginning of the opening
sequence we didnt want to put to many credits in as then the audience would lose focus of the film and get confused while watching
it.
Films Similar To Stalked- Taken, Rush Hour, The Call
Taken: Taken is similar to our films as its about a young girl who is
Kidnapped in the storyline which is very similar to ours.
Rush Hour: Its similar as the storyline is based around a young girl who
Is kidnapped.
The Call: The Call is similar to our film as it creates suspense and
Tension which we incorporated into our film.
