food operations, in 2012, packaging weight in Juice PET
was reduced by focusing on bottle weight reduction

Human Sustainability
Products
With the use of high quality alternative microlight salt, company has
reduced its sodium content in their consumer favourite Lays Classic
Salted variant by 25% while still maintaining the same taste.
Healthier blends of oil are used to produce key snack products which
has helped to already meet the 2020 PepciCo global goal of reducing
saturated fat in the products by 15%
Market Place
All the products carry nutrition labeling information on the big 4
nutrients i.e. energy, protein, carbohydrates & fat.
PepsiCo India along with six other companies has pledged not to
advertise to children under 12 years and to innovate and develop
products that can be advertised to such children.
Community
PepsiCo is partnering with both the government and leading academic
researchers in India to develop a affordable and nutritious products for
mothers and families.
In 2010, Project ASHA was developed in the state of Andra Pradesh to
address the issue of iron micronutrient deficiency.
Talent Sustainability
Culture
A national safety audit for woman was conducted in 2010. The
women's helpline Sakhi was rolled out to all female employees
and safety cards were provided.
Introduced two new programmes covering 1600+ associates,
under one employee wellness program (Formula 3: Food, Fun and
Fitness)

In 2012, reached out to 1,218,945 people in the HIV/AIDS
awareness programme through associate volunteerism and
