GAINING SKILLS
You gain a Skill Feature at every even-numbered level.
Alternatively, a Skill Feature costs a number of Skill Points equal to its position in a
tree divided by two, rounding up. For example. The first Feature in any tree would
cost 1 Skill Point. The fourth would cost 2.
Skill Points are gained by the following means:
Spending your Inspiration to gain a single Skill Point during a short or long rest
Spending 30 days at a cost of 1 gold per day practicing and receiving training
Anytime you already have all the bonuses listed for a Skill Feature, you are counted
as having that Skill Feature
You may not take a Skill Feature without taking the feature immediately prior in its
respective tree.
