Making Suggestions
A suggestion is a tip or additional information you
think will help someone.
Example: I suggest you study harder for your final exam.
The person you are making the suggestion to doesn’t have to
do what you are suggesting, but instead it is a good idea.

Making the Most of Your Trip
Imagine standing under Big Ben or walking
through Piccadilly Circus. London has so many
interesting paces to visit that even if you went for a week
you couldn’t see everything. To see as much as you can
during your visit, you must plan your trip carefully. First,
you should gather information about London. You can go
to the travel section of a bookstore, visit a travel agency,
or surf the Web for information. Next, make a list of the
things you would like to do the most. For example, if you
have always wanted to see the Crown jewels, then plan a
visit to the Tower of London. After that, look at a map to
learn about the underground train (or “Tube”) lines so that
you will know how to get around. Finally, write down your
travel plans on a piece of paper and carry it in your
pocket. Refer to it while you are there so that you won’t
miss anything. In conclusion, there is a lot to see in
London, so take the time to play your visit beforehand.
