Abstract
Online Mentoring System is a Client-Server system , which acts as an Interface between the Mentors and the students, to reduce the work load of students in entering their details and also Mentors to assess their Students more efficiently .

Data is maintained in a book, which may be lost easily Difficult to enter data manually, takes long time to enter the data Searching for data & understanding it is very much time consuming Low attendance pupil cannot be found easily
Low average pupil cannot be found easily
Saving books of each and every student is very difficult Using one book for every year is not so useful for mentoring efficiently With this system many pupil are detaining every year

Data will be maintained in the computer It will be easy & faster to enter data than that of existing system
Low attendance pupil can be found easily
Low average pupil can be found easily Saving data requires small amount of memory only Searching for data is very simple and fast If this system is implemented efficiently , pupil detaining will surely come down
