Power Management Operating Voltage : 3 -5 V Voltage Input : 7 12 V Connect to a computer straightly power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. Microcontrollers power source is from the battery
The Testing of MCU
Measure the +5V DC using DC Volt function on multi-meter to check whether it is in short circuit condition. Simple program to blink or light LED on and off to check the Pin
IR SENSOR & Encoder Wheel Module
Low-range IR emitter detector amplified signal circuit
16 Resolution of Encoder Wheel Sensor module covered with black tape to reduce the effect of ambient IR radiation.
Testing and Consequences
Testing The Receiver/Sensor and Sender IR LED is placed an 1/8 to a 1/4 inch apart maximum, parallel and almost contacting. Glow of IR LED by using the digital camera. Measure the sensor input by DMM in ambient light & when a piece of white paper is held near to the module. The data is taken and varied along with motor during calibration.
Testing and Consequences
Consequences: Inaccurate result value due to : The inappropriate placement on IR Infrared emitted detector) circuit the weather/ light ambient
LCD Display
basic 20x4 character HD44780 parallel interface chipset. The last 3 lines will be used to display the information Battery status will be displayed in percentage for more accurate value 11 general I/O pins
Problem Encounter
Simulation and Real Implementation when interfacing with H-Bridge Circuit is different Some pins are broken Calibration on IR sensor (Velocity Range) Time Management
Budget
LCD Arduino Total : $21 : $66 : $ 87
