At amber fort we seen most viewable place just as1. maavtha lake 4.dil- aaram bag 7.suraj pol 2. Ganesh pol 3. Zenani dehori
In 1799 AD Swai pratap singh decided to conver to mansagar lake in a pleasure spot and hence he build jal-mahal. A water palace in the midst of man-sagar lake.
ROYAL RAJASTHAN EDUCATIONAL TOUR BIRLA-TEMLE:Birla temple is located below moti doongri hill JLN marg. It was built by Birla group of industries in1988. It was originally known as laxmi-narayan temple. After sight seen in evening we reached at hotel muskan-palace jaipur . In the morning of 27 Feb. we went for indesrtial visit at jaipur. 1. Uttam (Bharat) Electricals Pvt. Ltd. Jaipur 2. 400 kv GSS at hirapur jaipur 1.UTTAM (BHARAT) ELECTRICAL PVT. LTD. :COMPANY PROFILE:Jaipur is aleading manufacturer of powe and distribution transformer from 16KVA upto 11-22-33 KV class, uttam is a professionally managed compny. Uttam make transformers are approved by telecom.CPWD, MES, Railway, Pwd, and various state electrical boards. Name:Main product:Uttam(bharat) Electricals(P) ltd. Power & distribution transformers Three phase-single phase transformers Product range:Capacity:Sailent feature:5 KVA to 10000 KVA, 33-22-11 KV class 75000 KVA per annum Robust Design, economical losses, stringent quality Control, timely delivery, extended guarantee period, Efficient & prompt after sales service.
PRODUCT PROFILE:UTTAM makes ,naturally cooled, oil immersed three phase, 50hz. Doubly wond, continuous duty, power and distribution transformers. STANDARD PRODUCT RANGE:- 5 KVA TO 8000 KVA RATED VOLTAGE :(A) H.V.- 3.3 KV, 6.6 KV, 11 KV, 22 KV, 33 KV etc (B) L.V.- 22 KV, 11 KV ,6.6 KV, 3.3 KV, 0.4 KV etc CORE:The transformer are built with filly annealed, cild rolled grain oriented laminations. Fully mitred designs are used to ensure low losses low megnetising current and low noise levels. WINDINGS:The winding are designed to optimise thermal, mechanical & electrical stresses depending upon current and voltage requirement. They can be of (a) spiral type (b) cross type, (c) helical type, (d) continuous disc type. The coil are made of from paper covered or synthetic enamelled copper or aluminium conductors of EC grade.
ROYAL RAJASTHAN EDUCATIONAL TOUR TANKS:The tanks are made of mild steel and are of welding type. cooling radiators made from elliptical tubes/pressed steel fins are provide to maintains the temperature of transformer.
INSULATION AND OIL:The oil is used as coolant and insulating medium. It is tested for di-electrical strengthas perIS:335, before topping.
2.HIRA PURA 400 KV GSS JAIPUR:Hirapur 400 KV GSS is established at jaipur. It has four feeder. It take supply from 220 KV GSS. It is totally based on SCADA system. According to SCADA system only one person can control all feeders by the control room where SCADA system held. At the hirapura GSS we seen these equipment1.Bus-bar 2.Insulator 3. Isolating switches 4. Power transformers 5. Current transformer 6. Voltage transformer 7. Metering and indicating instruments. 8.miscellaneous equipment
1.BUS-BAR:When a no of lines operating at a same voltage have to be directly connected electrically, bus bar is used as a common electrical equipment. 2.INSULATORS:These are used for two purposes. They support the conductors(or bus bar) and confine the current to the conductors. These are made by porceline. 3.ISOLATING SWITCHES:In sub-station it is often desired to disconnect a part of the system for general maintenance and repair. This is accomplish by an isolating switch. 4.CIRCUIT BREAKER:A circuit breaker is an equipment which can open or close a circuit under normal as well as fault conditions.
A power transformer are used in a sub- station to step-up or step-down the voltage. 6. CURRENT TRANSFORMER:A current transformer in essentially a step-up transformer which step down the current to a known ratio.the primary of this transformer connected in series with line. 7. VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER:It is essentially a step-down transformer and step-down the voltage to a known ratio. The primary of this transformer consist of a large no of turn of a fin wire connected across the line. 8. METERING AND INDICATING INTRUMENTS:There are several metering and indicating instrument (eg- ammeters, voltmeter, energy meters,) installed in this GSS.
9. MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT:-
ROYAL RAJASTHAN EDUCATIONAL TOUR There are several miscellaneous Equipment used in GSS(a) (b) (c) Fuses Carrier-current equipment Sub-station auxiliary supplies
After industrial visit we went to Kota and we reached at Kota in late night. In the morning of 28 Feb. we went for industrial visit of hydro power plant Kota.
HYDRO POWER PLANT KOTA:The Rana Pratap Sagar Dam is a gravity masonry dam of 53.8 metres (177 ft) height built on the Chambal River at Rawatbhata in Rajasthan in India.
In Rana pratap sagar dam Kota hydro power plant there is there four power unit established in 1968. Each unit generate 43 MW electricity and total is 172. In each unit Francis hydrolic turbine used which have following specifications 52000 KW, 49.7 m net head, 125 rpm.
ROYAL RAJASTHAN EDUCATIONAL TOUR These turbines are designed by KMW and Johnson and co. (CANADA). These turbines are start and stop as the requirement of electricity. In this power plant water falls on turbine at 5kg pressure so this turbine rotate and coupled generator generate electricity. SUPER THERMAL POWER PLANT KOTA:Kota Super Thermal Power Plant is Rajasthan's first major Coal fired Power It is located on the left bank of the Chambal River near Kota.
