O que é Material Didático?

Didactic material is a pedagogical tool that serves as a basis, support, and guidance to
student. He is like an instruction manual on a specific subject.
This support material can be any resource associated with the educational context, or
be, that addresses the object of study and presents it in an explanatory way for the acquisition of
knowledge.
All material that aims to support the activity is considered didactic material.

The types of educational materials, based on the Brazilian Classification of Audiovisual Resources,
include:
Visual resources: books, albums, posters, exhibitions, photographs, prints, maps, graphs,
flannel graph, models, mural, museums, objects, pictures, transparencies, among others.
Audio resources: sound equipment, records, cassette tapes, CDs, radio, CD-ROM;
Audiovisual resources: movies, cinema, television, VCR, DVD, computer, tablets,
cell phones, software, and applications.

What is the importance of Teaching Materials?

The teaching material helps the student to achieve a better understanding of the subject being studied.
