POWER MANAGEMENT
There are several ways to approach classifications of
power handling. Peavey Electronics classifies the handling of
power of the system of this unit using a modified form of the
AES standard 2-1984, which uses a limited audio bandwidth
(20Hz - 20kHz) of pink noise with peaks up to four times higher
that the RMS level. This exhausting test signal ensures the user
that each portion of this system meets high technology
musical of today.
The test signal contains large amounts of low energy.
frequency, effectively simulating the content of frequencies of
situations of live music. The full measure of highs
frequencies in the test signal allow for the exposure of the system
from speakers to synthesized tones that can extend beyond
the audibility. This classification is contingent on having a minimum of
3 dB of headroom (usable range) available from the amplifier ensuring
so the clipping will not happen.

ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING SPECIFICATIONS

The speaker system must have an operational bandwidth.
from 48Hz to 17.5kHz. The nominal output level is 100dB when
is measured at a distance of 1 meter with an input of 1 watt. The
The nominal impedance is 8 ohms. The continuous power handling
it is 300 watts, the maximum programmed power of 600 watts and the
peak input power of at least 1200 watts, with a minimum
of headroom in the amplifier of 3 dB. The radiation geometry
the nominal is 84° in the horizontal plane and 59° in the plane
vertical. The external dimensions are: 33.50 inches high by
21.50" wide and 22.75" deep. The weight of the cabinet is
83 lbs.
