Safety and Preliminary Precautions
• Never start the engine unless the batteries are properly connected.
• Never disconnect the batteries when the engine is running.
• Never reverse the terminals. This action can damage the ECUs.
• Never connect or disconnect the PLD or VCU connector unless the key is turned off.
• Never disconnect the CAN cables unless the key is in the off position.
• When disconnecting the battery terminals, keep the + and - cables of the battery together. Also disconnect the electrical connectors of the
PLD and VCU.
• When performing electronic repairs, always use the correct equipment (multimeter).
