sign is texture rich and 3D, which does tend to gobble up Yarn.

our. The Square weighs 3oz = 85g.

Ch6. Join into first ch.
Y/o, 1Puff ( y/o x 3, ch1 to close ), ch1. Do this 8 x into ch6 ring.
Close with a ss into beg Puff.
= 8Puffs + 8 x ch1sp’s. Fasten off.
Rnd 2: Snowmoon
Beg in any ch1sp ( rnd 1 ): 4dc. Do this 8 x = 8 x 4dc’s ( 32 dc’s ).
Close with a ss into 2nd 1dc. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Denim ( working WS ).
Work ‘round any Puff ( rnd 1 ), ch3bp ( = 1dcbp ), ch3.
Do this 8 x = 8dcbp’s + 8 x ch3sp’s.
Close with a ss into beg ch3. Fasten off.
Rnd 4: Frosted Cherry
Beg in top of any Puff ( rnd 1 ): the video will be very helpful here.
Ch3 = 1dc + 3dctog = * 4dctog. Ch8 *

Beg in first 1dc of first “set” of 4dc’s ( rnd 2 ) RIGHT of 4dctog ( rnd 4 ):
* 1sc into first 1dc, 1hdc into next 1dc, 1dc into next 1dc, 2tr into next 1dc.
Sk next 4dctog ( rnd 4 ).
Into next 1dc, 2tr, 1dc into next 1dc, 1hdc into next 1dc, 1sc into next 1dc.

Beg by * sk first 1sc ( rnd 5 ):
1scfp over 1hdc, 1dc, 2tr’s, ch1, 1scfp over next 2tr’s, 1dc, 1hdc. Sk next 1sc.
NOTE: work fp’s around TOP of st, not the post! The video will be helpful here
Into front strands of 1dcbp ( rnd 3, beneath 4dctog rnd 4 ): 2trtog. In the video
I show you exactly how, so that the right side of your trtogs show, and not the
wrong side.
Ch3, 1sc into ch3sp ( rnd 3, work “behind” 4dc’s rnd 2 ), ch1 ( optional if your
tension is tight ), sk 1dcbp, 1sc into next ch3sp, ch3.
Sk next 1dcbp, into front strands of next 1dcbp ( rnd 3 ): 2trtog *
Continue sequence = 8 x 2trtog + 8 x ch3sp’s + 8sc’s + 8 x ch1sp’s ( optional if
your tension is tight ) + 32scfp’s.
Close with a ss into 2nd 1scfp. Fasten off.

Rnd 7: Snowmoon
NOTE: working into top of st’s ( rnd 5, behind rnd 6 ). The video will be very
helpful here.
Count from LEFT to RIGHT ( that is tr#2 rnd 5 ,which counts as 1, then 2, 3, 4 ).
This is tricky to explain. Now, working from RIGHT to LEFT: 1sc into top of st
( rnd 5 ), 4dc into next st, 1sc into next st, 2tr into next st ( which is the ch1 rnd
5 ), ch1, 2tr into same st, 1sc into next st, 4dc into next st, 1sc into next st, ch2.
Continue sequence = 4 x ch1sps + 4 x ch2sp’s + 4 x 4tr’s + 4 x 8dc’s + 16sc’s.
Close with a ss into first 1dc ( sk first 1sc ). Fasten off.
NOTE: in the video I say “count from ch1sp ( rnd 5 ) “ but of course there is no
ch1sp in rnd 5, and I mean tr #2 rnd 5 ).
Rnd 8: Frosted Cherry
Beg WS: * working from the back, 1sc into strand btw 2 sets of 2tr’s ( rnd 5 ) as
shown below.
Ch6, 1tr into front strands of next 1dcbp ( rnd 3 ). Ch6, as before, 1sc into
strand btw 2 sets of 2tr’s ( rnd 5 ) * Continue sequence * to * = 8 x ch6sp’s +
4tr’s + 4sc’s.
Close with a ss into first ch6sp. Fasten off.
NOTE: in the video I say “1trfp” but of course it’s 1tr. :)
Rnd 9: Frosted Cherry
Into ch6sp ( LEFT of tr, rnd 8 ), * 6dc’s, ch2, sk 1tr, 6dc into next ch6sp , ch2 *
Continue sequence * to * = 8 x 6dc’s ( 48dc ) + 8 x ch2sp’s.
Close with a ss into 2nd 1dc.
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.

Rnd 10: Frosted Cherry.
Ch3 = 1dc.
Into BLO, 1dc into all dc’s , 2dc into all ch2sp’s ( rnd 9 ).
Close with a ss into 2nd 1dc = 64dc’s.
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Rnd 11: Frosted Cherry.
Ch3 = 1dc.
Into BLO, 1dc into next 6dc’s ( rnd 10 ) = 7dc’s.
2dc into next 1dc = 9dc’s.
Continue sequence = 8 x 9dc’s ( 72dc’s ).
Close with a ss into 2nd 1dc.
DO NOT FASTEN OFF. PLACE STITCH MARKER.
Rnd 12: Cream or White ( INDY ROUND ).
Into ch6 RIGHT of 1tr ( rnd 8 ):
3dtrtog, ch6.
3dtrtog into next ch6sp LEFT of 1tr.
Fasten off. Do this 3 x more as shown.

Rnd 13: Frosted Cherry
Work in front of ch6sp ( rnd 12 ).
Remove stitch marker, Ch3 as shown in video ( ie; over ch6 ) = 1dc.
* Sk next 3dtrtog ( rnd 12 ).
Into BLO, 1dc into next 12dc’s ( rnd 11 ).
Sk next 3dtrtog ( rnd 12 ), 1dc into next 6dc’s ( rnd 11, work in front of ch6
rnd 12 ) *
Continue sequence * to * = 4 “sets” of 6dc’s + 4 “sets” of 12dc ( worked into
BLO rnd 11 ) = 72dc’s.
Work last 5dc’s, sk ch3 ( =1dc ), ss to close into next 1dc ( worked into BLO ).
Fasten off.
Rnd 14: Citrus ( INDY ROUND ).
Work 1 x 5dtr Popcorn btw 2dc’s ( rnd 10, worked into ch2sp rnd 9 ).
Fasten off, do this 3 x more.
Do not work in the ends yet for this Popcorn.

Rnd 15: Snowmoon
Work into 3BLO.
Into ch1sp ( btw 2 x 2tr’s, rnd 7 ): 1sc, * ch4.
Count 5dc’s ( rnd 13 ) from “ space “ above 3dtrtog ( rnd 12 ) LEFT to RIGHT:
1hdc into 5dc’s ( worked into BLO rnd 13 ) from RIGHT to LEFT this time,
1hdc into next 3dc’s = 8hdc’s.
1hdc into JS of next Popcorn.
1hdc into next 8dc’s ( rnd 13 ).
Ch4, sk 2dc’s ( rnd 13 ), 1sc into next ch1sp ( rnd 7 ) *
Continue sequence * to * = 4sc’s + 8 x ch4sp’s + 4 x 17hdc’s ( 68hdc ).
To close, remove hook and work tail through beg 1sc. Fasten off. Secure tail.
Rnd 16: Olive ( INDY ROUND ).
Work btw two skipped dc’s ( rnd 15 ): 5dc, fasten off.
Do this 3 x more = 4 “ sets” of 5dc’s.
Rnd 17: Coral ( INDY ROUND ).
Work 3dctog into 4sp’s btw 5dc’s, fasten off = 4 x 3dctog. Work in tails.
3dctog into 3sp’s btw 4 x 3dctog, fasten off = 3 x 3dctog. Work in tails.
3dctog into 2sp’s btw 3 x 3dctog, fasten off = 2 x 3dctog. Work in tails.

MIRROR SIDE A.
Repeat corner, repeat all:
1 Side = 22hdc’s. Centre Panel = 2dtr+ 2tr + 2 x ch3sp + 1sc.
1 Corner = 2hdc, ch2, 2hdc.
Close with a ss into 2nd hdc. Fasten off.

Rnd 24: Frosted Cherry
Beg in first corner 1hdc ( rnd 23, after a corner ch2sp ):
Work all Puffs into 3rd and 4th BLO. The video will be very helpful here! If
you can’t manage to work into 4th loop you can work into 3BLO.
1Puff ( y/o x 3, ch1 to close ).
Sk 1st ( rnd 23 ), 1Puff as before. Do this until you have 7Puffs = SIDE A.
Ch6.
Into sp RIGHT and LEFT of 1hdc ( rnd 15 ), made into 1Popcorn ( rnd 13 ):
3tr, sk 1hdc ( rnd 15 ), 3tr, WORK TR’S TOGETHER = 6trtog.
Ch6 =CENTRE PANEL.
Note: work behind your previous rnds.

MIRROR SIDE A.
Corner = 1 x ch2sp.
Repeat all.
1 Side = 14Puffs
1 Centre Panel = 2 x ch6sp’s + 1 x 6trtog.
1 Corner = ch2sp.
Close with a ss into top of beg Puff.
Fasten off.

Rnd 25: Snowmoon.
Beg in ch2 corner sp ( rnd 23-same colour ):
3dctog, ch2, 3dctog = first corner.
1hdcfp, ch1 over next 7Puffs ( rnd 24 ) = SIDE A.
Ch6, 1sc into front strands of 1sc btw 2 x 3chsp’s ( rnd 23 ), ch6.
MIRROR SIDE A. Repeat corner, repeat all.
1 Side = 14hdcfp’s + 12 x ch1sp’s + 2 x ch6sp’s + 1sc.
1 Corner = 3dctog, ch2, 3dctog.
Close with a ss into top of beg 3dctog.
Fasten off.

Rnd 26: Denim Block by pinning out on to a suitable surface. Spritz liberally
with water. Leave to dry overnight.
Beg in sp btw first 2 x Puffs ( rnd 24, behind rnd 25 ):
Measures 30cm x 30cm / 12” x 12”
2dc into 6sp’s btw 7Puffs = 12dc’s ( 2 x 6 ) = SIDE A.
Ch6, sk 4hdc ( rnd 22 ), 1sc into next hdc, ch6.
MIRROR SIDE A.
Corner = ch4.
Repeat SIDE A, repeat all.
1 Side = 12 x 2dc ( 24dc ) + 2 x ch6sp’s + 1sc.
1 Corner = ch4sp.
Close with a ss into sp btw first 2dc’s.
Fasten off.
Rnd 27: Denim ( final rnd for the square ).
Beg btw first 2dc’s ( rnd 26 ):
2dc btw next 6 2dc = 12dc ( 6 x 2 ) = SIDE A.
Ch3, 2dc onto ch6sp, sk 1sc, 2dc into next ch6sp.
MIRROR SIDE A.
Corner = ch3, 1sc into ch4 corner sp ( rnd 26 ), ch3 .
Repeat SIDE A, repeat all.
1 Side = 12 x 2dc ( 24dc ) + 2 x ch3sp’s + 4dc’s.
1 Corner = ch3, 1sc, ch3. End of Part 1
Close with a ss into sp btw first 2dc. Fasten off. PLEASE OMIT RND 27 if you continue on to the Block size.
