1. Introduction
VCDS is the VAG-COM diagnostic system created by Uwe [Link] VAG vehicles manufactured since 1994 can be diagnosed and, according to
The car model can be modified with this program and the correct cable. For the Ibiza 6J, you will need a HEX-CAN interface cable.

I initially created a document in my native language, Dutch, to compile the VCDS options I found on the Internet and in my own car, an Ibiza 6J ST 1.2 TDi.
Ecomotive. These are very popular in the Netherlands due to tax reductions to promote 'green' cars. Most options will have been
tested in my own car, although not all, since it was produced in July 2010 and the light switch with automatic option was not available at that time. The
Volkswagen Polo Bluemotion and the Skoda Fabia Greenline, presented in 2010, share many components with the Ibiza ST Ecomotive. Most of the options that are

Light switch with 'auto' option: some modifications to the exterior lighting configuration of the car will only work if the car comes with a light switch that
it has an 'auto' option. These were available in the Netherlands with cars produced after week 48 of 2010. Cars from before this week of
production can have a rain/light sensor, but without the switch, the functions of the light sensors are not available. (This is the case with my car, boohoo).

I tried this completely. It can be useful when installing custom bulbs (not CAN LED?) and diagnostics. The light comes on the dashboard.

Update May 28, 2011: the 6J has 4 side lights. A member of the SO forum had replaced these with CAN bus LED lights. As soon as one of the lights
internal laterals were replaced, the diag. the light on the dashboard turned on. We have tried several different configurations with these bytes but we could not convince the
diag. light to stay off ... We even tried setting the undocumented bits in 0 0 in the three bytes, with the four side lights replaced, it didn't help ... :(

Curve lights are still activated when the wheel angle is large enough. See screenshot 12: BCM PQ25 - Byte 21.

3.10 Turn off the front fog lights

Component: BCM PQ25 (09 - Electric Center) Byte:

Purpose of
adaptación: After enabling this option, you should be able to get the car's speed on the radio screen. I have not

7.13 Development radio test mode

Component: Radio H10 0107 (56 - Radio)

Purpose of
adaptation Show additional information about the settings on the radio. Seethis YouTube demonstration. Enable the option according to
screenshot 40: 56 - Radio adaptation - Driving school function and hold down the 'Menu' key for about 8 seconds. In the menu
S-Debug shows the speed of the car. I don't know if this is what is understood by the driving school function.
