Dear Sir/Madam:
Good day.
I am writing to formally express my interest in applying for the position of Part-Time Instructor in
Diploma in Agricultural Technology at TEAMSKILLS School for Culinary Arts and Hospitality
Management, Inc. With my academic background in agriculture and my combined experience as both a
field practitioner and an educator, I believe I can contribute meaningfully to your institution’s
instructional and industry-aligned training programs.
I am currently employed as Agriculturist I at the City Veterinary Office, LGU Dumaguete, where I
am actively involved in community-based agricultural programs, livestock and poultry management
initiatives, extension services, and technical project supervision. This role has strengthened my
capabilities in hands-on agricultural operations, technical advisories, and field assessment, and local
agricultural development— competencies highly relevant to teaching applied agricultural technology.
In addition to my government service, I am also serving as a Part-Time Instructor at the College of
Agriculture, Foundation University, where I teach agricultural production, management, and applied
laboratory courses. This experience has enhanced my skills in curriculum delivery, outcomes-based
education, student engagement, laboratory facilitation, and academic documentation. I am confident that
these combined experiences in both the academic and professional agricultural sectors will enable me to
deliver practical, industry-focused instruction to your learners.
I am eager to bring my expertise, work ethic, and commitment to education to TEAMSKILLS, an
institution known for its competency-based and skill-driven programs. I believe that my background
aligns well with your vision of producing graduates equipped with relevant agricultural and technical
knowledge that supports the food, hospitality, and culinary sectors.
I would be grateful for the opportunity to further discuss how I can contribute to your institution. I am
available at your convenience for an interview and can be reached through my mobile number or email
address provided above.
Thank you very much for your consideration. I look forward to the possibility of joining your esteemed
institution.
Respectfully yours,

Melito B. Cataylo, Jr. RAgr.
