1 Before Starting Tests


1.1 Visual inspection of the system.
1.2 Check the condition of the hoses and clamps.
1.3 Inspect the generator belt.
1.4 Check that there are no loose or corroded wires.
1.5 Check that the fuel supply valve is open (sitene).
1.6 Make sure that the areas around the rotating parts are clear.
1.7 Check the oil level.
1.8 Check the fuel level.
1.9 Check the coolant level.
1.10 Check the engine temperature (between 30° and 40°).
1.11 Check for oil or fuel leaks.
1.12 Check the voltage of the batteries.
2 Procedure
2.1 Check the status of the transfer (It should be in automatic mode).
2.2 Turn off the control mini breaker of one of the phases (to simulate a fault).
2.3 The system should switch from electric grid mode to generator mode.
2.4 Wait for 5 to 10 seconds for the equipment to start.
2.5 Wait for the equipment to reach 1800 RPM.
2.6 Let the equipment operate for at least 30 minutes at full load.
2.7 Switch the control mini breaker of one of the phases to ON (to restore the fault).
2.8 The system must transition from generator to the grid.

3 During the Test


2.1 Measure the output voltage of the generator between L1 and L2.
2.2 Measure the output voltage of the generator between L2 and L3.
2.3 Measure the output voltage of the generator between L1 and L3.
2.4 Measure the output current of the generator in L1.
2.5 Measure the output current of the generator in L2.
2.6 Measure the output current of the generator in L3.
2.7 Register the generator frequency.
2.8 Register the RPM of the generator.
2.9 Record the oil pressure.
2.10 Register the fuel pressure.
2.11 Record the inlet temperature to the radiator.
2.12 Record the output temperature at the radiator.
2.13 Register the temperature of the refrigerant.
