32. Two pipes running together can fill a tank in 12minutes. If one pipe takes 10
minutes less than twice the other to fill tank, find time taken by each to fill it.

SECTION-E ( Case Based Questions)
36. The school auditorium was to be constructed to accommodate at least 1500
people. The chairs are to be placed in concentric circular arrangement in such a
way that each succeeding circular row has 10 seats more than the previous one.
(i) If the 1st circular row has 30 seats, how many seats will be there in the 10th row?
(ii) If there were 17 rows in the auditorium, how may seats will there be in middle
row?
(iii) A) For 1500 seats in the auditorium, how many rows need to be there?

B) If 1500 seats to be arranged, how many seats will be still left to be put after
10th row?
37. A theme park has been designed in the shape of quadrilateral on a coordinate

38. A rope stunt by a circus artist is a daring aerial performance. An artist climbing
through a 15m long rope highly stretched and tied at top of a vertical pole to the
