Greetings fellow leaders!
Every chapter begins with a blank page—and here we are once again at the threshold of a new Rotary
year, pen in hand, ready to write the next story of service. The District Learning Assembly stands as the
preface to this unfolding narrative. It's where the groundwork is laid, where intentions crystallize into
action, and where leaders begin to stretch their wings.
With fresh RI thrusts laid out before us like a roadmap, we are reminded that Rotary is a living, breathing
movement—always evolving, always seeking relevance in a changing world. These new guideposts
meant to help us reimagine how we can truly unite for good in a world that needs it more than ever.
For the incoming batch of district officers, this is a time to move from theory to practice, from aspiration
to actualization. Like scholars approaching a new field of study, they come equipped not only with ideas
but with the readiness to test those ideas in the laboratory of real-world service.
The District Learning Assembly is our shared classroom and our common ground. It's where lessons are
exchanged, strategies debated, and where even the most seasoned leaders return to refresh their
insight. Because in Rotary, learning never retires. Leadership is a discipline, one that grows sharper in the
company of others equally committed to doing the hard work of meaningful change.
As we turn this new leaf together, may we approach the coming days with both curiosity and courage.
Let this assembly become our ignition, a moment that sparks ideas, builds relationships, and reaffirms
our promise to serve—not for recognition, but for real, lasting impact.
Warm regards,
DGN Rhyan Virrey
