LASTRA LTD. REPRESENTATIONS
MEXICANA, A. C.
Our Logistics department, which belongs to Marketing, must
to be intimately linked to what we will call the Sales Department, and of
in the same way to the Purchasing Department.
In order to achieve success in our company, it will be necessary to follow a pattern of
Sales, which will be managed by the Sales and Marketing Departments.
in the following way:
1. Before production, the company must gather information in order to
identify the needs and functions of buyers, which constitute
an attractive opportunity for him. This role will be developed by the
Department of Market Studies, belonging to Marketing.
the study can be done through surveys or some other instrument of
data collection
Similarly, a study of the available possibilities must be carried out.
by the suppliers for the organization of the "incentive announcements of
offers”, task carried out by the Advertising Department, belonging to
Marketing.
3. After production, communication actions will be carried out.
from the manufacturer oriented towards distribution, made by the department of
Logistics located in Marketing, together with the Department of
Sales. The objective of this activity will be to obtain the information of the
product and the cooperation of distributors regarding sales space,
promotion and price.
4. Next, the Advertising Department will carry out the activities of
promotion, aimed at making buyers aware of the existence of the
product, as well as the advantages it presents over the competition.
5. The distributors, belonging to the Sales Department, will be the ones who
they are in charge of direct dealings with customers, for which they are one of the
most important pillars of the company, they will be the ones to make known the
variety of products and the conditions of sale, with a single purpose: to create
customer loyalty.
6. After the use or consumption of the goods, the measures of satisfaction
The dissatisfaction will be collected by the Market Research department.
to allow the offer to be adjusted to the buyers.
It is proposed that this process be considered as a work option.
with the sole purpose of achieving the best performance of the company.
It is important to have a Purchasing or Procurement Manager who
must focus your work on the development of strategies aimed at the
purchases of raw materials, that is, the suppliers and negotiations with
they.
The manager will be responsible for the planning and control of the
materials, as well as the scheduling of purchases, the incoming traffic and
exit from the warehouses and the disposal of waste, scrap or the
remaining waste.
For the moment, your main and most important task will be to determine
who will be our raw material suppliers, that is to say, to investigate in
where we will get the best quality at the best price, to start as soon as possible the
production.
The Purchasing Department must coordinate with other levels
through its manager, as follows:
Production Manager. To determine the products that will be
require for production operations at the expected volume and
frequency with which these products are required.
Logistics Manager. To determine the quantity of items that are
they find with a lot of stock, the total storage capacity and
available for each item, as well as new needs or new
storage methods for products and the new equipment and materials
to operate in the warehouses.
Finance Manager. With the aim of understanding the records of
inventories carried out to determine the assets of the company.
The Purchasing Department may be located within the Department of
Production.
It is also important to consider that it is essential to have
unAlmacén, no sólo para resguardar los productos, de lo que se encargará
the logistics department, but to place the raw material in it
necessary for production.
