Sub: Work Order for Transportation
With reference to your quotation, we are pleased to place the Work order for Transportation of coal from
15.09.2025 to 01.08.2026 as per the following Terms and Conditions:
1. RATE & SCHEDULE OF WORK :
Transportation Rates will be as follows:

2 Transportation of Coal from Stock No- AOC-12 to Spur Siding No. III & IV of Ananta 55.40
OCP, Jagannath Area at a Surface to Surface Lead of 6-7 KM
3 Transportation of Coal from Stock No- AOC-12 to Spur Siding No. 1 & II of 61.91
Bhubaneswari OCP, Bhubaneswari Area at a Surface to Surface Lead of 7-8 КМ
4 Transportation of Coal from Stock No- AOC-06 & AОC-12 of Ananta OCP to LMGT-I 74.52
& LMGT-II of Lingaraj OCP, Lingaraj Area, at a Surface to Surface Lead of 9-10 KМ
2. HSD ISSUE :
Diesel will be supplied on a chargeable basis.
The price of diesel will be supplied at the market rate and same amount deduct from the running bill.
3. ACCOMODATION AND WORKSHOP :
Company will provide accommodation for worker at site free of cost.
It will also provide workshop at site for contractor without any cost.
4. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
1. You shall possess the necessary license under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act-1970 and the
rules made there under.
2. You have to engage your own machinery & manpower for the said purpose of works. It is your sole responsibility
to pay the minimum wages for the labour engaged by you for this purpose as provided by the Government and to
meet such other statutory requirements and Benefits which your employees are entitled to under any statute
applicable to them.
3. You have to furnish the list of employees who work for you under this agreement indicating their full name, age,
address, passport size photograph, their licenses and the persons to be communicated in case of emergency. Your
workmen will be covered by any statutes in force from time to time and provisions of such act will be binding on you
and your workmen.
4. For every person you are going to employ shall undergo the Medical examination and other tests as prescribed by
company Medical officer and submit fitness before joining as well as in periodically to NCL.
5. The contractor has to ensure that all the safety provisions provided in the machinery must be in the working
condition always. The workers must use safety belt and other provisions. On roads and mines no Overtaking, the
vehicle should not be over loaded & Maintain Daily log books.
6. In the machinery music systems are not allowed and while operating the machine the operator shall not use is
mobile.
7. The machinery shall not park under any electric lines or on any pressure lines and shall not carry any repair works
at these places without written permission of MCL.
8. The speed limits must be followed by the operators engaged by you and at turnings and crowded places the
machinery must move at minimum speed with proper care.
9. During transportation if any breakdown has happens to vehicle, the load material shall not unload at that place
without written permission from officials of MCL.
10. The machinery shall meet all safety features as required by Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS) by their
circulars and guidelines from time to time.
11. You should also be responsible in respect of all claims damages compensation or expenses payable to your
workers in consequence of any accidents as per the provisions of the Workmen's Compensation Act.
12. Payment of Billing on month to month basis certified by the concerned authorities. After submission of bill to
Accounts department the payment will be released in 30 days' time.
13. GST wherever applicable will be paid to you separately subject to submission of proof of payment. TDS will be
deducted from the payment as per the IT rules. A consolidated TDS certificate will be issued to you at the end of
each financial year upon your request.
14.Weighments made or certified by the company shall be final. Minimum weight for sixteen wheel Hywa is 32 MT.
15. No claim such as idle charges, waiting charges, etc., will be entertained in case the plant is not in a position to
take Limestone.
5. TERMINATION OF CONTRACT :
In the event of non-compliance or breach of any of the terms and conditions of this contract or for unsatisfactory or
in efficient execution of the works or in involvement of malpractices, we shall be at liberty to terminate the contract
without any notice. For any other terms either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving written
notice of not less than Thirty (30) days.
6. ASSIGNMENT : You shall not assign in whole or in part any works of this contract to any other third party without
written permission from MCL.
7. ARBITRATION: This shall be in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act with the latest
revisions, as applicable and will be subjected to the jurisdiction of Hyderabad courts only.
You are hereby requested to kindly sign the duplicate copy of this agreement as a token of your acceptance of
the terms and conditions stipulated above.
