Claudio Sahut
Claudio Sahut was born in Montpellier (France) on January 15, 1883, and died in
1932. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, specializing in drawing and
management of ornamentation and decoration styles within architecture.
He arrived in Peru in 1905 and brought with him all the French splendor from his homeland.

FERNANDINI HOUSE
The Fernandini House in 1914, one of its most successful works, which constitutes
as an evocation of the Louis XV style in terms of Art Nouveau, being this
edification that constantly reappears in the works of Sahut from this period.
The famous French architect Claude Sahut was originally commissioned to design
the property as a summer residence for the García Bedoya family. Its
architectural characteristics and style capture the spirit of celebration of
centenary of Peru.
THE OECHSLE HOUSE
The Oechsle house is named after brothers Fernando Augusto and Arthuro.
Oechsle Junk, born in Ulm, Germany. Accountant the first, merchant the

The new Oechsle store, replacing the smaller old one, was designed
