This teaches us that we should not let others’ opinions hold us back. Trying new things helps us
discover our own abilities, overcome fear, and grow more confident. Experiences become
meaningful only when we attempt them ourselves.

b) Heidi feared being thought ungrateful, which shows that honesty is essential in relationships.
When we express our true feelings and intentions, misunderstandings can be avoided. Being
honest builds trust and respect between people. It helps others know our real thoughts and
strengthens bonds by ensuring openness, clarity, and mutual understanding.
