PROCESS OF EXAMINATION (TO BE CONDUCTED JOINTLY BY VBOs AND TCS)
5. Admittance of Candidates
It is essential for the venue management team to verify the ID-proof and call letter to establish the

exceptional circumstances where part of the name is abbreviated/condensed or spelt differently or the
sequencing is not as per order, but there is sufficient reason to believe that the candidate is who he/she
claims to be after examining the ID documents, the VBO and TCS team can jointly decide to allow a
particular candidate to appear for the examination. A detailed report of any such exceptions made must
be submitted to IBPS after every examination.

Activities such as the verification of the identity of the candidates and attendance will be carried out
by the Invigilator. In case of any discrepancy, the cases may be referred to the VBO who in turn may
refer the same to IBPS.

Photo captured at registration will be matched with live photo captured during application. In case
of mismatch, an alert will be provided on registration screen. Documents and identity check of such
