2. SUMMARY
The course aims to provide knowledge of the applications of computer science.
Initial Education, as well as training in the selection and use of software
specialized as tools for the preparation stage
preschool, similarly it is intended that the future teacher knows and applies the systems
multimedia in the teaching-learning process of the specialty. The contents are
organized into the following units: I. Main Software for Teaching in
Early Childhood Education; II. Didactics of designing educational programs in Early Childhood Education,
practice in the Computer, Media and Multimedia Materials; III. Design and Development of
Applications in Early Childhood Education; IV. Applications in web pages.
3. COMPETENCIES
Use multimedia software applications in the development of activities
teaching and learning for the initial level selecting them with criteria and
responsibility.

legal aspects related to digital information, demonstrating a positive and supportive attitude.
Incorporate the use of free software based on open standards in the process of
teaching and learning according to the characteristics of children demonstrating their

6. METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES

8.2. Basic Evaluation Considerations
The partial assessment in each unit will be carried out taking into account the following
aspects:
a) Attendance at in-person classes and workshops at least 70%
