Tutorial: How to Use a Bluetooth Mouse

Step 1: Check Requirements

Make sure:

●​ Your computer’s Bluetooth is turned on.​

●​ The mouse has batteries or is charged.​

●​ The power switch is on.

Step 2: Turn On Pairing Mode

1.​ Press and hold the Bluetooth or Connect button on the mouse.​

2.​ The indicator light should flash — this means it’s ready to pair.​

Step 3: Pair the Mouse

1.​ Open Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Add Device.​

2.​ Choose Bluetooth.​

3.​ Select your mouse when it appears.​

4.​ Wait until you see “Connected.”

Step 4: Test the Mouse

●​ Move it to see the pointer move on screen.​

●​ Left-click to select.​

●​ Right-click for options.​

●​ Use the scroll wheel to move up or down a page.

Step 5: Adjust Settings

Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Mouse to:

●​ Change pointer speed.​

●​ Swap left and right buttons.​

●​ Modify scrolling behavior.
