Error Code 39 - 247 - 09

This document provides information on diagnostic codes related to data communication via a CAN link in a compactor machine. It describes possible causes of communication errors such as loose connections, open or damaged cables, and issues with termination resistors. It also presents a troubleshooting procedure that includes verifying part numbers, inspecting connections, and measuring the termination resistances of the data link.

through the data link. The data link is not responding correctly.

The possible causes of a fault diagnosis code FMI -9 are:

Loose harness connections.

Open cables.

Problems with termination resistors.

Cables that are short-circuited to ground.

Cables that are short-circuited to the battery.

The high cable of the data link is short-circuited to the low cable of the data link.

High resistance through the data link.
