source technologies. For last few years, at AMTRON,
a hardworking and experienced team of software
developers is providing solutions and developing
softwares for various organizations of North East
India using open source technologies. AMTRON has
developed technological solutions for using VoIP in
organizations. One of our teams is dedicated in
developing and providing solutions for VoIP
technology. Already we have installed VoIP systems
for some organizations in Assam. AMTRON got a
great recognition for promiting Open Source. In the

established in 1984. Here's a brief background of the

development solutions, IT consultancy, and skill development
training. The services provided by AMTRON company are
offers various courses, including certificate programs in web
application development and Tally with spreadsheet. This
company over 24 years of experience in delivering solutions in
telecom and IT domains, pioneering IT-enabled solutions.
AMTRON Received the SKOCH Award in 2021 for delegate
registration and voting. It Involved in e-governance initiatives,
such as the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) in Assam, and
implementation of Common Service Centers (CSC).
AMTRON has a strong presence in North Eastern India, being

statement analysis, acquired skills in information and
communication technology, including software applications,

soft skills, such as communication, teamwork and problem-
solving. The AMTRON internship was a valuable experience,
providing a well-rounded learning opportunity that combined
technical knowledge with essential soft skills. The insights and
skills gained during this internship will be beneficial for future
academic and professional pursuits.

including financial statement analysis, budgeting, and

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
The method for the study can be applied to the
gathering of the data for the study. Data is gathered
from primary and secondary sources.

Primary sources:
It was gathered using a prepared questionnaire
including feedback of students of doing AMTRON
internship.
Secondary sources:
These data are collected from published sources such
as Wikipedia etc.
Sampling plan of the study:
A total of 17 students were selected as the sample for
the study. This number was considered adequate to
represent the views of the target population within the
project’s time and resource constraints. A convenience
sampling technique was used due to the ease of access
to participants during working hours. Although the
sample size was relatively small, it provided sufficient
insight for the objectives of this internship project.
SUGGESTION

Based on our experience during the internship

program conducted by AMTRON at Dispur College
in July 2025, we would like to put forward the
following suggestions for further improvement of
the program:
1. Increase the Duration of the Program:-
The internship was completed in a short time
span, which limited in-depth coverage of the
topics. Extending the duration would allow
participants to gain a deeper understanding and
more hands-on practice.
2. Include More Advanced Topics:
While the current syllabus covered the basics of
ICT skills, soft skills, and accounting, the inclusion
of more advanced and practical modules (e.g.,
industry-relevant ICT tools, communication
workshops, and applied accounting practices)
could enhance the learning experience.
3. Provide More Practical Sessions:-
More hands-on activities, case studies, and real-
life project work would help participants apply
theoretical knowledge effectively.
4. Enhance Resource Materials:-
Providing detailed study materials, guides, and
references for each topic would help participants
revise and continue learning after the program.
5. Increase Interaction Opportunities:-
More interactive sessions such as group
discussions, Q&A rounds, and peer-to-peer
learning can make the sessions more engaging
and collaborative.

We believe that implementing these suggestions

will not only improve the quality of the program
but also enhance the overall learning outcomes
for future participants.
FINDINGS
Based on the feedback collected from 17 respondents, the
following findings were observed:
1. Most of the responded students are from Finance
Department.
2. Most of the students who have responded found this
internship somewhere related to their field of study.
3. 40% of student think that the soft skill classses helps them
to build their confidence
4. A majority of the participants (47.1%) rated their overall
internship experience at AMTRON as Good.
5. Around 29.4% of the respondents felt the experience was
Average, indicating that there is scope for improvement in
certain areas.
6. 17.6% of the respondents rated the experience as
Excellent, which reflects a positive impression among some
interns.
7. A small proportion (5.9%) rated the experience as Poor,
suggesting that a few participants faced challenges or were
not fully satisfied.
8. Overall, the survey shows that the majority of interns had
a favorable experience at AMTRON, with more than 64%
(Good + Excellent) expressing satisfaction.
