19 cm, and the
length of its diagonal is
11 cm.Find the total surface area of the cuboid.
2. If 216 identical smallcubesof side1 cm are combined to form a single large cube,
find the ratio of the total surface area of216
thesmall cubes to the total surface area
of the single large cube.
3. The dimensions of a metallic
cuboid are 100 cm X 80 cm X 64 cm. It is melted and
recast into a perfect cube. Find the diagonal of the recast cube.
4. A hollow square
- shaped tube open at both ends is made of iron.
The internal square
3
is of 5 cm side and the length of the
tube is 8 cm. There are 192 cm of iron in this
tube. Find its thickness.
5. A metal cuboid of dimensions18 cm X 16 cm X 12 cm is melted and recast into
small identicalcubes, each of side2 cm. Find the number of small cubes formed. If
all the small cubes are painted, what is the total painted area?
6. A well with an inner diameter of10 m is dug 14 m deep. Earth taken out of it is
evenly spread all around it to a width
5mofto form anembankment.Find the height
of the embankment.
7. The area of an isosceles trapezium is 360 cm². The lengths of its parallel sides are 3
cm and 18 cm. Find the perimeter of the trapezium.
8. In a trapezium ABCD with AB || DC, a line segment PQ || AB is drawn, intersecting
AD at P and BC at Q. P and Q are midpoints. If AB = 24 cm, DC = 12 cm, find the
length of PQ.
9. The area of a trapezium is 120 m². The ratio of its parallel sides is 3 : 5 and the
distancebetween them is 10 m. if the non
-parallel sides are equal, and one of them
is 13 m, find theperimeter.
