Pradhan mantri Jan Dhan Yojna

PMJDY scheme launched on 28 aug 2014 By PM Modi


To insure at least one bank account for each house hold of the country
With inbuilt accident insurance cover of Rs. 2 lakh,
The scheme provides Basic savings bank accounts with an overdraft
facility of Rs. 10,000 to every eligible adult
The Upper age limit for OD has been increased from 60 to 65 years.
A PMJDY account is treated as inoperative if there are no customer-induced transactions in the
account for over a period of two years.
Like Dormat account
The announcement to start this scheme was made by the Prime Minister of the country
Narendra Modi on 15 August 2014 on the occasion of Independence Day. This was probably his
first major plan after he became the prime minister in 2014.
By linking Jan Dhan accounts with Aadhaar card, overdraft facility of Rs 2000 to Rs 10000/- is
given on it without any guarantee.
So far 42.37 crore savings accounts have been opened

Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana (4th may 2017)


The ‘Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana’ (PMVVY) has been
launched by the Government to protect elderly persons aged 60 years
and above against a future fall in their interest income due to
uncertain market conditions, as also to provide social security during
old age. The scheme is implemented through the Life Insurance
Corporation of India (LIC) and open to subscription Was upto 31st
March, 2023
The Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana was launched by the
Government on 4th May 2017.
It is a social security pension scheme which provides pension scheme
benefits to senior citizens in monthly form after the age of 60 years.
This scheme is being run all over India through the Life Insurance
Corporation of India.
Policy term of 10 years

Prime Minister Crop Insurance Scheme


India is a country of farmers with maximum proportion of rural
population dependent on agriculture. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri
Narendra Modi unveiled a new scheme Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima
Yojana (PMFBY) on 18 February 2016.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 18 February 2016 unveiled a
new scheme Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).
A uniform premium of only 2% for all Kharif crops and 1.5% for all
Rabi crops is to be paid by the farmers. In case of annual commercial
and horticultural crops, the premium will be 5% only.
The Union Government has allocated Rs.16,000 crores for
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for the Fiscal Year 2021-22

Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme


The PM Krishi Sinchayee Yojana was launched in the year 1 July 2015,
it is sponsored by the Central Government, and implemented by the
State Government, in which the share of the Central Government is
75% and the State Government is 25%. For this, the central
government’s share is 90% and the state government’s 10%. The main
objective of this scheme is to make maximum use of water resources,
Central Govt sanction 50000 CR Rupees For the scheme
“Jal Sanchay” and “Jal Sinchan”. Micro irrigation is also incentivized
through subsidy to ensure “Per drop-More crop”.

Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana


(PMMSY) was launched on 10th September 2020. The aim of the
scheme is to bring about Blue Revolution through the sustainable
development of the fisheries sector over a period of five years (2020-
2025) PMMSY was announced in the union budget 2019-20. Central
Sponsored Scheme (CSS) – (Central Assistance for North eastern
States – 90%, Other States – 60%; and UTs – 100%
The central sponsor scheme component of the PMMSY will cover
three broad sub-components:
1- Enhancement of Production and Productivity

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana


Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi announced the scheme on March
26 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic in [Link] in view
welfare of the beneficiaries and in order to maintain uniformity
across the states, free foodgrains will be provided under the
PMGKAY for the year 2023 to the poor beneficiaries as per the
entitlement under the the National Food Security Act (NFSA).
free food grains are being given to more than 80 crore poor people
from January 1
st 2023 , poor people will to get 5 kg wheat or rice
and 1 kg of preferred pulses for free every month for the next three
months

Cash transfers Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana:


Help To Poor
A total of 20.40 crores (PMJDY) women account-holders would be
given an ex-gratia of Rs 500 per month for next three months.
Gas Cylinder
Under PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, gas cylinders, free of cost, would be
provided to 8 crore poor families for the next three months.
More than 80 crore poor are being given free food grains from January
2023, poor will get 5 kg of wheat or rice and 1 kg of preferred pulses
free of cost every month for the next three months Cash transfer under
PM Garib Kalyan Yojana: Helping the poor: A total of 20.40 crore
(PMJDY) women account holders will be given an ex-gratia amount of
Rs 500 per month for the next three months. Gas Cylinder: Under the
PM Garib Kalyan Yojana, gas cylinders will be provided free of cost to 8
crore poor families for the next three months.

Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana


(PMMY) is a scheme launched by the Humble Prime Minister on April
8, 2015 for providing loans up to 10 lakh to the non-corporate, non-
farm small/micro enterprises. These loans are classified as MUDRA
loans under PMMY. These loans are given by Commercial Banks,
RRBs, Small Finance Banks, MFIs and NBFCs.
Under the aegis of PMMY, MUDRA has created three products
namely ‘Shishu’, ‘Kishore’ and ‘Tarun’

PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana


Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme which provides income
support to the farmers and their families. PM-KISAN scheme was first
implemented as the Rythu Bandhu scheme by the Government of
Telangana where a certain amount was handed directly to the eligible
farmers. Later, on 1 February 2019, during the 2019 Interim Union
Budget of India, Piyush Goyal announced.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the PM-Kisan scheme on 24
February 2019 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Under the scheme an
amount of Rs 6000/- per annum is transferred directly into the bank
accounts of small and marginal farmers in three 4-monthly
installments of Rs 2000 each.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyaan (PM-


KUSUM)
Objective –The scheme aims to add solar capacity of 30,800 MW by
2022 with total central financial support of Rs. 34,422 Crore including
service charges to the implementing agencies.
The Scheme consists of three components:
Component A: 10,000 MW of solar capacity through installation of
small Solar Power Plants of individual plants of capacity up to 2 MW.
Component B: Installation of 20 lakh standalone Solar Powered
Agriculture Pumps.
Component C: Solarisation of 15 Lakh Grid-connected Agriculture
Pumps.
Till 31.03.2026
In PM Kusum Yojana, up to 90 percent subsidy is being given by the
government on solar pumps, which will be borne by the central and
state governments.
Central Government and State Government will provide subsidy of
30-30 percent.
Loan facility up to 30 percent will be given by banks
PM KUSUM Yojana was the scheme has been extended till
31.3.2026,” R K Singh, Minister for New and Renewable Energy said
in a written reply to the Lok Sabha launched on March 2019.

Smart Cities Mission


Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Smart Cities Mission in
India on June 25, 2015 .In the five rounds, 100 cities are selected
countrywide.

On average Rs 100 crore per city over the five years. The scheme
will be operated as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) on a 50:50
model, meaning Rs 50 crore will be contributed by the centre and
Rs 50 crore by the state government or Union Territories.

Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman


For providing one hot cooked meal in Government .and Government –
aided Schools from 2021-22 to 2025-26. The Scheme is being
implemented by the Ministry of Education. Government launched
POSHAN Abhiyaan (Prime Minister's Overarching Scheme for Holistic
Nutrition) on 8th March 2018 to address the problem of malnutrition
in the country. The goals of POSHAN Abhiyaan from jhunjhunu
convergence mission with the vision to ensure attainment of
malnutrition free India by 2022. The objective of POSHAN Abhiyaan
to reduce stunting in identified Districts of India with the highest
malnutrition burden by improving utilization of key Anganwadi
Services and improving the quality of Anganwadi Services delivery.
Its aim to ensure holistic development and adequate nutrition for
pregnant women, mothers and children.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD) is
implementing POSHAN Abhiyaan in 315 Districts in first year, 235
Districts in second year and remaining districts will be covered in
the third year.
The Rashtriya Poshan Maah is being celebrated during the month
of September every year under POSHAN Abhiyaan.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) Prime
Minister’s Social Security Schemes, launched by the Honorable
Prime Minister on 9th May 2015
The PMJJBY is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years
having a bank account who give their consent to join / enable auto-
debit. Aadhar is the primary KYC for the bank account.
The premium is Rs. 436 per annum which is to be auto-debited in
one instalment.
On attaining age 55 years (age neared birth day) subject to
annual renewal up to that date (entry, however, will not be
possible beyond the age of 50 years).

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana


The risk coverage under the scheme is Rs. 2 lakh for accidental death
and full disability and Rs. 1 lakh for partial disability. The premium of
Rs.20 per annum is to be deducted from the account holder’s bank
account .it was originally mentioned in the 2015 Budget speech by
Finance Minister Late Arun Jaitley in February 2015. It was formally
launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 8 May in Kolkata.
The Scheme is available to people in the age group 18 to 70 years
with a bank account who give their consent to join / enable
auto-debit on or before 31st May for the coverage period 1st
June to 31st May on an annual renewal basis.

Svamitva scheme
SVAMITVA, a Central Sector Scheme of Ministry of Panchayati Raj was
nation-wide launched by the Honorable Prime Minister on National
Panchayati Raj Day, 24th April 2020 after successful completion of
pilot phase of scheme (2020-2021) in 9 states.
SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages Abadi and Mapping with Improvised
Technology in Village Areas Areas)
Scheme is a reformative step towards establishment of clear
ownership of property in rural inhabited (Abadi) areas, by
mapping of land parcels using drone technology and providing
‘Record of Rights’ to village household owners with issuance of
legal ownership cards (Property cards/Title deeds) to the property
owners.

Atal Pension Yojana (APY)


APY was launched on 9th May, 2015 by the Prime Minister. APY is
open to all saving bank/post office saving bank account holders in the
age group of 18 to 40 years and the contributions differ, based on
pension amount chosen. Subscribers would receive the guaranteed
minimum monthly pension of Rs. 1,000 or Rs. 2,000 or Rs. 3,000 or Rs.
4,000 or Rs. 5,000 at the age of 60 years
HRIDAY: Heritage City Development & Augmentation Yojana
HRIDAY is a central sector scheme, where 100% funding will be
provided by Government of India.

Warangal
Under HRIDAY launched in January, 2015, heritage related
infrastructure development is being taken up in 12 identified
cities at a total cost of Rs. 500 cr.

It aims to preserve and rejuvenate the rich cultural heritage of the
country.
NIPUN-National Initiative for Promoting Upskilling of Nirman
Workers
NIPUN is creating a future labour force for the construction
industry which will propel innovation and large-scale development
in the country.
The construction sector is on track to become the largest employer
by 2022, and it will require 45 million more qualified workers over
the next ten years. its comes under ministry of housing and urban
affairs.
It will provide trainees with ‘Kaushal Bima’, a three-year accidental
insurance with coverage of INR 2 lakhs, digital [Link] Skill
Development Corporation (NSDC) will be the Implementation
Partner for the project NIPUN.
5 july 2021 date of launch
The scheme objective is to train over 1 lakh construction workers,
through fresh skilling and upskilling programmes and provides them
with work opportunities in foreign countries .
Approximately 12,000 people in foreign countries such as the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE
t comes under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.
Onsite skill training will be provided to approximately 80,000
construction workers through industry associations under the RPL
certification, co-branded with MOHUA.

PM SVANidhi
The PM Street Vendors Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme,
which was launched in June,2020 amid the pandemic, is a micro-credit
facility that provides street vendors a collateral-free loan of Rs 10,000
with low rates of interest for a period of one year approximately 50
lakh street vendors, to help resume their businesses in the urban
areas, including surrounding peri-urban/rural areas.
Interest subsidy @ 7% per annum on regular repayment of loan
cashback upto INR 1200/- per annum on undertaking prescribed
digital transactions

Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana


Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana was launched on January 1,
2017 for the welfare of pregnant and lactating women across the
country. It is a centrally sponsored scheme which is operated by the
Ministry of Women and Child Development going.
Under PMMVY all eligible beneficiaries are given Rs 5,000 in three
installments.
The eligible beneficiary in three instalments (these are 1k, 2k, 2k)
if second girl child then they will provide 6000 RS
Central govt 60% and state govt 40%.
The minimum age to apply in this scheme is 19 years under Janani
Suraksha Yojana
It was originally launched in 2010 and renamed in [Link]

Pradhan mantri Jan Arogya Yojana


The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna or PM-JAY as it is popularly
known. This scheme was launched on 23rd September, 2018 in Ranchi,
Jharkhand by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra
Modi. Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY is the largest health assurance
scheme in the world which aims at providing a health cover of Rs. 5
lakhs per family per year for secondary and tertiary care
hospitalization

It subsumed the then existing Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana


(RSBY) which had been launched in 2008. The coverage
mentioned under PM-JAY, PM-JAY provides cashless access to
health care services for the beneficiary at the point of service,
that is, the hospital.

and Wellness Centre was launched by the Prime Minister at
Jangla, Bijapur, Chhatisgarh on 14th April 2018.

Mission Karmayogi is the National Programme for Civil Services
Capacity Building (NPCSCB).
It is a reform in Indian Bureaucracy. Union Cabinet launched it on

Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) Programme


The Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme was launched in 2003 with an
aim to promote the use of renewable and environmentally friendly
fuels and reduce India’s import dependence for energy
