TECHNIQUES TO KEEP IN MIND IN A MARCH
Senderism

The step we take in our march is going to be

determinant to avoid muscle fatigue. It is very
normally see how inexperienced hikers begin to
a very strong ritual, an expense that will be paid in a few hours
after. The pace of the march is individual and
non-transferable, we must maintain a regular pace of
big strides and not letting ourselves be influenced by
the rhythms of other companions. With a breath
rhythmic and fluid; the heartbeats
they must be kept between 100 and 140 bpm.
DOWNTECHNIQUE
In general, we must move the center of gravity (Cg)
backward and make modifications in the stride according to the type
of land:
Fine stone earrings: Being a place where we can
slip and depending on the thickness of the stones we can drive in
the heels or support the entire sole to provide more surface area of
subjecting.
Bigger stones: we can support the heels and keep going.
larger strides.
Stones in blocks (quarry): Reach the blocks
contiguous, avoiding jumps and very long steps to not fall between
stones or getting trapped. It would be advisable before jumping to another
piedra tocarla para asegurarse que no se mueve.
CROSSING RIVERS
Sometimes during our journey, we are forced to cross rivers.
sometimes we find a more or less improvised bridge, but if not, we will look for a
place to wade it:
If the river has little flow and is narrow, we can jump over it.
If it is very wide, sometimes there is a stone path that we can cross.
The problem arises when the river is wide and full of water:
Lo primero es valorar si merece la pena pasarlo o no.
Pass where the water flows less quickly, which is usually after a curve to the east.
Throw a stone to measure its depth and a stick to assess its speed.
Do not take off your shoes while crossing.
Use the cane for support.
We can rely on a colleague's shoulders to cross.
Unfasten and remove the straps from our backpack so we can quickly free ourselves in case we fall.
If we have to swim, we will do it diagonally, with the current and with a safety rope.
The backpack floats if we put it inside a large garbage bag.
