Offer Acceptance
The University is committed to ensuring that all students meet the necessary academic qualifications for their selected programmes. We uphold
a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding any inaccurate or misleading information related to admissions.
Before accepting the admission offer, please carefully read through all the information provided in your application as well as the important
details outlined in the Notice of Offer and the Student Handbook. Acceptance of the admission offer signifies your understanding of and
undertaking to adhere to these procedures, rules and regulations.
To indicate your decision, please select either "Accept My Offer" or "Decline My Offer" by the deadline shown in Debit Note 1. If you choose
"Decline My Offer," your study place will be offered to another eligible applicant.
If you choose “Accept My Offer”, please complete the following steps to finalise your acceptance.
Step 1: For unconditional offer, please arrange the submission of the required documents for qualification verification within 2 weeks of
accepting the admission offer. For qualifications with forthcoming results as stated in the offer condition, please submit the official
documents for verification within 2 weeks of the Meet Condition deadline.

Required Documents for Qualification Verification
For all qualifications claimed in your application, except for those obtained from PolyU, you are required to arrange for official documents to be
sent directly by the recognised issuing authority to the Academic Registry of PolyU. Please click here to view the “Guidelines on Submission of
Required Documents for Qualification Verification”. Failure to comply with the requirements or any discrepancies found in the submitted
documents may result in cancellation of your admission offer and registration at the University. Please note that fees paid will not be refunded.
Status of Qualification Verification
Once the verification process is complete, the status of all your academic qualifications will be updated to "Completed" under the "Status of
Qualification Verification" section of the Notice of Offer.
Please refrain from inquiring about the verification status unless it remains unchanged 5 working days before your programme registration
period. Rest assured, if any additional supporting documents are required, we will contact you directly before your scheduled registration.
Programme Registration
To proceed with the programme registration, you must complete the qualification verification. Please ensure that your verification status of all
your academic qualifications is updated to “Completed”. Before proceeding, please note the following:
(i) Once you complete the programme registration, you cannot change your registered scheme/programme.
(ii) Pay the tuition fee and caution money as specified in Debit Note by the due date. Failure to settle the payment will result in the
cancellation of your programme registration.
(iii) Complete the programme registration within the scheduled period to avoid the cancellation of your admission offer. If you are unable
to complete your programme registration on time, please contact your programme offering department for assistance before the last
day of the scheduled period.
Please follow the procedures below to complete your online programme registration during 18-Jul-2025 to 21-Jul-2025:
Step 1 : Click the "Proceed to Programme Registration" button below (this button will be enabled once your verification status of all your
academic qualifications is marked "completed").
Step 2 : (1) Verify personal details, including your name and date of birth, (2) enter your emergency contact information and (3) confirm
receipt of your student visa (if applicable).
Step 3 : Upload a recent passport-sized photo with the appropriate resolution and format (click here for photo requirements) for the
production of your Student Identity Card. If you skip this step, your card will not be available for pickup as scheduled.
Step 4 : Take a screenshot of the page upon successful registration. You will receive an email confirming your registration.
Step 5 : Complete the online survey(s).
Step 6 : Carefully read the "Important Notes for Registered Students", which will also be sent to you by email.
Step 7 : Complete the Student Identity Card collection booking form to schedule your pick-up date and time.

You can collect your student card at PolyU according to the schedule and procedures stated in the “Important Notes for Registered Students”
after completing the programme registration.

Important Notes
1. Qualification Verification and Registration
Upon accepting the admission offer, you are required to arrange for the required documents for all qualifications claimed in your application
(except for those obtained from PolyU) to be sent directly by the recognised issuing authority to Academic Registry of PolyU. Please refer to the
“Guidelines on Submission of Required Documents for Qualification Verification” for details. Failure to comply with the requirements
or any discrepancies found in the submitted documents may result in the cancellation of your admission offer and registration at the University.
Please note that fees paid will not be refunded.
If you fail to complete the necessary procedures, or if your full fee payment has not been properly received, the University will release your
study place to another eligible applicant. All fees paid will not be refunded. For reinstatement of offer, you must submit an application to the
programme offering department for consideration.

Programme Requirement Document
You will be issued a copy of the Programme Requirement Document for your programme of study by the programme offering
department at the commencement of your study. This document contains information on credit requirements, curriculum, programme-
specific assessment regulations, grading system, graduation requirements, and award classifications. The programme offering
department has the right to make changes to the programme credit requirements and hence your graduation requirements as
considered to be reasonable and necessary. You will be informed of the changes as and when appropriate.
Once you become a PolyU student, you are advised to read through the up-to-date version of the Student Handbook, as it serves as a
comprehensive guide for your academic journey. Please note that the latest version always takes precedence.
