Human-Computer Interaction
Abstract:
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is an interdisciplinary domain that explores
the thoughtful design, critical evaluation, and practical implementation of
interactive computing systems tailored to human needs, behaviors, and contexts.
This paper explores the principles and methodologies that underpin effective
interaction between people and computers, emphasizing user-centered design,
usability, and accessibility. With the growing complexity of digital systems and
the increasing integration of AI, HCI continues to evolve, incorporating insights
from cognitive psychology, design thinking, and emerging technologies such as
augmented reality and voice-based interfaces. Through a review of current
trends and case studies, this work highlights the importance of designing
intuitive and inclusive interfaces that enhance user satisfaction, productivity,
and overall experience. The study concludes by discussing future directions in
HCI, particularly in adaptive interfaces and human-AI collaboration.
