Modules Description
1. Module Master control XP243X supcon
Overview
Controller XP243X is the core of JX-300XP system. It can automatically perform data collection,
information processing, control output and more functions. XP243X achieves communication
with I/O modules through data transmission module, and it gets information in the field through
signal input module, and sends command through signal output module in order to control field
devices after executing comprehensive operation in controller. The operation program executed
by controller is implemented by the graphic configuration software conforming to IEC61131-3.
The controller periodically broadcasts the real-time information through SCnet, so that all
operation nodes in the network can monitor the control station real-time, and the information
can be enquired by all the operator nodes in SCnet.
Function Features
XP243X has following function features:
Three 32-bit embedded CPUs cooperate together to process the control tasks, which
has powerful functions, high speed and large capacity for single station.
Operation cycle ranges from 50ms to 5s are optional. The typical one is 500ms
The modular design is adopted in Control software and algorithm modules.
Provides 192 control loops, including 128 customize loops and 64 general loops.
10M/100Mbps redundant industrial Ethernet are adopted for SCnetⅡ network, which
guarantees the immediate, reliable transmission of system data and the openness of
network.
Provides 1:1 hot-standby redundant. The speed rate of the synchronization of two
redundant controllers can be 16.5Mbps.
Provides compositive fault-diagnosis of controller, I/O module and I/O channel.
Provides on-line downloading. During downloading, the controller can still work
normally as the existed configuration.
Faster downloading speed for configurations.
Supports control tasks designed with Ladder Diagram (LD), Function Block Diagram
(FBD), Sequential Function Chart (SFC) and other configuration tools.
Supports cold/hot startup of initialization modes. User can apply the proper user
algorithm initialization program for different modes.
2. MODULE DATA TRANSMISSION XP233 SUPCON
Overview
The XP233 is the core module in the module cage and the linker between controller and

capability from 1 to 8 module cages, totaling 128 I/O modules in max.
Function Features
XP233 has following function features:
WDT reset. CPU reset would be performed automatically when the software is
disordered because of module interference.
Redundant configuration. One pair of redundant XP233 can be configured in the cage, if
the work module fails, it can switch to the standby one without interrupting operation.
It can also switch the software when hardware fault occurs and switch hardware when
software fault occurs, to ensure the safe and reliable running of the system
Expandable capability of module cages. The XP233 has DIP switch for address setting
and can set the module address in SBUS. Just add the XP233 module to expand module
cages in the system under the allowed ranges set by system. The address of new added
XP233 should be different with other XP233 in SBUS.
