Cognitive

 Remembering: Recalling previously learned information.

 Understanding: Explaining ideas or concepts.

 Guided Response: Imitating a demonstrated physical act.

 Mechanism: Performing a physical act with some confidence and proficiency.
 Verbs: assemble, build, calibrate, construct, fix, grind, heat, manipulate, measure, mend,
operate, sketch.
 Complex Overt Response: Performing a physical act with a high degree of skill and proficiency,
automatically.

 Adaptation: Modifying skills to fit new situations.

Affective Domain
 Receiving: Being aware of and willing to listen to a phenomenon.

 Responding: Actively participating and reacting to a phenomenon.
 Verbs: answer, assist, comply, conform, discuss, greet, help, perform, practice, present,

 Valuing: Attaching a value to a phenomenon or behavior.
 Verbs: accept, approve, complete, defend, describe, differentiate, explain, justify,
propose, share.
 Organization: Organizing values into a system and prioritizing them.
 Verbs: adhere, alter, arrange, combine, compare, generalize, integrate, organize,
prepare, synthesize.
 Characterization: Internalizing a value system that controls behavior.
 Verbs: act, discriminate, display, influence, listen, modify, perform, practice, propose,
verify.
