The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS),

1974, as amended, is generally regarded as the most important of all


international treaties concerning the safety of merchant ships.
As of the most recent updates and amendments, the SOLAS
Convention Annex consists of 15 Chapters:
