OneNav+ Installation Guide
System Requirements
Following table lists the recommendation for a client system to install OneNav application. You must have
a windows-based computer with administrative privileges to install the application. The recommended
configuration guarantees optimal performance of the application.
Operating System Microsoft® Window 10 & Windows 11 (64 bit) with Administrative
Privilege
Browser Microsoft® Edge / Google Chrome/ Mozilla Firefox
Hard Disk Space Minimum 40 GB space
RAM 8 GB or 16 GB
Internet Speed Minimum 5 MBPS speed.
A slow or intermittent connection can cause the download to fail
External Devices USB-based removable media, Floppy, CD, PCMCIA

Upgrading to OneNav+ 2.19.0
Upgrading from 2.18.0 to 2.19.0
Install latest version of OneNav+ application
NOTE
If you do not have local admin privilege on your computer to install the application, contact your IT
administrator for further assistance.
Upgrading from 2.12.0 or earlier versions to 2.19.0
Upgrading the application, includes the following:
1. Perform backup of existing Archive and Navigation databases
2. Remove existing/previous version of OneNav+ application
3. Install latest version of OneNav+ application
4. Restore backup Archive and Navigation databases
Perform backup of existing Archive and Navigation databases
To perform a backup operation
1. On your computer, navigate to the OneNav+ installation directory.
All the files and folders corresponding to OneNav+ application is displayed.
2. In the installation directory, select and copy the Archive and NavDBZip folders.
The selected data (Archive and NavDBZip) is copied in the clipboard.
3. Navigate to the backup folder and paste the copied data from the clipboard.
The Archive and NavDBZip folders are pasted in the selected backup folder and the backup is
now ready to be restored.
Remove existing/earlier version of OneNav+ application
To remove existing/earlier version of OneNav+
1. On your computer desktop, click Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program (under Programs).
The Program and Features window appears with the Uninstall or change a program page.
2. Scroll through the list of installed programs displayed I the Uninstall or change a program page
and then select OneNav+.
The Uninstall/Change option is displayed on the top of the page next to Organize list.
3. Click Uninstall/Change.
The User Account Control security message is displayed.
4. Click Yes to proceed further with the installation.
The Question dialog box is displayed.

5. Click Yes to start the uninstall process.
The Setup wizard is displayed with the uninstall status. On successful removal of OneNav+, the
Uninstallation completed dialog box is displayed.
6. Click OK to close the dialog box and complete the removal process.
The Uninstall or change a program page refreshes to remove OneNav+ from the installed
programs list.
Install latest version of OneNav+ application
NOTE
To avoid any issues during installation, please close all open instances of OneNav+ before installing or
executing OneNav+ application.
To install OneNav+
1. Download the latest version of the OneNav+ installer from ads.honeywell.com.
The OneNav+.exe is downloaded in the default Downloads folder of your computer.
TIP
To navigate to OneNav+ Installer, after logging on to the ADS portal, under Subscribed Software /
Services and Tools section, click Tools > NavDB tab.
2. Right-click on OneNav+.exe, and then click Run as administrator from the resultant shortcut
menu.
The User Account Control security message is displayed.
3. Click Yes to proceed further with the installation.
The Language Selection dialog box is displayed with English selected as default language.
4. Click OK to view the installation wizard.
The Setup installation wizard is displayed with the welcome page.

5. Click Next to start the installation.
The Info dialog box is displayed.
6. Click OK.
The Installation Directory page is displayed with the default installation path.

NOTE
Click the Folder icon to change the default installation directory if required.
7. Click Next.
The Ready to Install page is displayed.
8. Click Next to begin the installation.
The Installing page is displayed along with the status of installation. On successful completion of
the installation, the Completing the OneNav Setup Wizard page is displayed.
9. Click Finish to close the wizard and complete the installation process.
The installed OneNav+ application opens.

Restore backup Archive and Navigation databases
To restore backup Archive and Navigation databases
1. On your computer, navigate to the OneNav+ installation directory.
All the files and folders corresponding to OneNav+ application is displayed.
2. Navigate to backup folder, copy Archive folder, and paste it in the OneNav+ installation
directory.
The newly pasted Archive folder is displayed in the OneNav+ installation directory.
3. Start OneNav+ application.
The My Database page is displayed.
4. Click Import Database.
The Import Database page appears and displays the Start Importing Database(s) option along
with the previously imported database paths under Quick Access. The File option is selected by
default.
5. Click Import under Start Importing Database(s) to browse to backup folder and then select
NavDBZip folder as applicable and click Open.
The navigation databases from the NavDBZip folder are imported and displayed in the My
Database page.

To report OneNav+ related issues, provide the following information in the E-mail.
• Computer information (click Start | Settings | Control Panel | System - General tab).
• OneNav+ Version Number located in the top left of the OneNav+ application or in the About
OneNav+ dialog box.
• Serial number(s) of the Honeywell Navigational Database that is in use when the issue is
observed (if applicable).
• Action that resulted to the issue (in detail).
