Q1.

TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF

I have been doing data analysis for the past 4 years where I have helped companies in their decision
making by providing them a data-driven approach. I specialize in converting raw data into meaningful
information. My strength lies in storytelling out of the data and for the last 2 years I have helped
companies remove bottlenecks in their process thus directly impacting their business revenue. During
my free time I sketch and sing. These things have shown me that creativity and out of the box thinking
can help solve real life problems as well. What I am looking for is a company for which I can add value
to, that I could produce a positive return on investment for.

Q2. How does your typical day look like?

On a typical workday, I retrieve and gather data, organize it, and use it to reach meaningful conclusions.
Cleaning data from primary and secondary sources, then analyzing and interpreting it using statistical
tool is also part of my role. Uncovering patterns and identifying new opportunities for process
improvement is also something that is part of my KRA.

A typical day usually includes, but is not limited to, meetings with the different team members to discuss
the tasks of the day and brainstorm for possible solutions. When everything is clear, I start working on
the data. Analyzing data consists of three main tasks: gathering the data, cleaning the data, and finally
processing the data. Depending on the problem I’m working on gathering data which is the easiest part.
Cleaning the data is the next step. Simply going through the data and trying to understand it, making
corrections where needed such as removing outliers or data that should not be included in the analysis.
The data processing is the part of the process where I get to use my programing and visualization skills. I
used these to come up with a solution for the problems at hand.

Q3. Discuss about your project.

Objective – How to understand what a user/candidate experiences when he visits a company page for
the first time?

A total of 8 members including me was part of this project where we tried to come up with a score for
every company based on perception by the user. Different questions were prepared as per the different
sections of a company website and different weightages were given. The index was then created
considering all the weightages. After carefully analyzing different companies based on their revenue,
footprint, and other factors a set of companies were taken, and the exercise was carried out. A total of
50 candidates were chosen out of 100+ candidates and the exercise were carried out. The final score for
each company was the average score of all these candidates.
